M.Tech. in Product Design and Development - Batch of 2026
Offered by School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bangalore

Very good college, good placements.
Placements: The students in their last year are eligible for the placement. The top companies visiting the campus for placement are SAP, Amazon, Wipro, etc. The roles offered are sales manager, data analyst, HR, etc. The percentage of students getting placed are 70%-80%. The average salary package provided is Rs 5 LPA, and the highest is Rs 10 LPA. My plans are to get placed in one of these top companies.
Infrastructure: The library is located on the first floor of the old academic block. The library is a whole world in itself, where we find many books and journals for our studies. We have proper amenities in the classrooms. The hostel facilities are very good. I share a room with two girls, in which we have an attached bathroom, a theatre, washing machines, etc. The hostel staff is very kind and cooperative. The food provided is excellent and hygienic. There are both non-veg and veg options.
Faculty: The course includes core subjects like Programming, Data structures, DBMS, Operating Systems and Web development from the early semester, which strongly influenced my decision. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:25 to 1:30 in most sections. In lab classes, the ratio is usually better, around 1:15 to 1:20, which helps in better practical understanding. Overall, the faculty-student relationship is professional and supportive.

BBA LL.B. (Hons.) - Batch of 2024

Good college with good placements.
Placements: They were fairly good. Since the first batch of law passed out in the current year, I had no idea about the placements and which companies visited the college for hiring students. However, placements for engineering students were quite good. I opted for two internships. One was at HOPO Foundation, which was an NGO, so the internship was unpaid. The second internship was at Fox and Mandal, Kolkata, where the stipend was Rs. 4000.
Infrastructure: Boys' and girls' hostels were separate. Girls were not allowed to step out of the hostel after 7 PM. The food was edible, although it was not very good. Rooms were spacious. The college provided options for both 2-sharing and 3-sharing rooms. Campus infrastructure was very good. There were two libraries and one auditorium with a seating capacity of 700 people. The cafeteria offered a wide range of menu options. The transportation facility of the college was very good. Wi-Fi was available all over the campus along with CCTV security.
Faculty: The course syllabus was well updated. Faculty members tried to encourage students to read current affairs. They also kept them updated about the changes taking place around them. Proper reading materials were provided by professors. It made easier for students to study.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2026
Offered by School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bangalore

It was a good option, but not the best one, for the students to fulfil all requirements decently.
Placements: In our Computer Science and Technology batch, the placements are decent, with only 30% to 40% of students securing jobs. The average package can be 3 to 4 LPA, but the thing is every student needs a minimum 6 CGPA or above to be eligible for placement, if not, there is no opportunity from the college.
Infrastructure: Labs and Wi-Fi are available. We have a huge library with more collections of books. PG/Hostel Life: hostel is 1.5 km away from college, but PGs are more the nearest to college. A free bus shuttle service is available to the main road in Rajankunte for students. There is a huge canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games are available.
Faculty: The faculty in the Computer Science and Technology department are generally supportive and friendly. The curriculum is nice and useful, and exams are easy if we go through the syllabus from day one. Otherwise, it may be difficult sometimes. There is a limit of 5 backlogs, if there are more than that, there is no eligibility for the next semester.
Other: Admitting from competitive exams is best; if not, it may be higher as per demand on the course. It's better to admit from DCET or KCET exams. And the main thing is that the location of the college is on the outskirts of Bengaluru, and the bus availability is less. You need to wait longer for it. Events are always there, and there are more extracurricular activities like clubs.

Very good infrastructure.
Placements: Maximum number of students get placed every year. The highest package is 14.5 LPA. Wipro, TCS, TVS, and Vedanta are top recruiters. Data Analysis and Manager roles are the top roles. The lowest package is 3.45 LPA, the highest is 6 LPA, and the average is 5.64 LPA overall.
Infrastructure: The college is well known for its vast area and eye-catching infrastructure. The Wi-Fi connection is also good. Hostel room facilities and food are safe. Hostel facilities are good and safe for everyone. Proper food, snacks, and washing machines are provided. It is away from the college, but bus facilities are available.
Faculty: Teaching is very good in the School of Commerce. Semester exams are not much difficult. They give training for industry readiness. The faculty are friendly and engaging. Classrooms are good, with proper facilities and no disturbance. It is a peaceful place to study.
Other: I chose this course because it gives me both technical and managerial knowledge. More practical training is needed. Fests are so good, every week we have some entertainment.

Master of Business Administration (MBA Dual Major Specialization) - Batch of 2022
Offered by School of Management, Presidency University, Bangalore
4.2
3Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good infrastructure and helpful teachers.
Placements: Only a few of the students were assigned to my senior classes. The jobs are with poor companies and pay very little. The university provides minimal internship support. Students in their second year are required to join one. Internships are only available during the two-month summer vacation and neither the duration nor the compensation is indicated.
Infrastructure: The only thing the college has going for it is its infrastructure. Park, sitting areas, sports grounds, cafeterias, and libraries are among the facilities. The cafe of the hostel delivers mediocre meals. A few clubs actively participate. There aren't many places to go in the vicinity of the organisation.
Faculty: Courses and exams are simple to learn with the right preparation. In order to avoid having to repeat the year and pay the fees again students must maintain a GPA of 4. Students must maintain 70 percent in each subject to be qualified to take the tests and attendance is closely checked.

Overall, the college campus and events are nice, but placements lag behind.
Placements: There are not too many opportunities for the ECE department, but CSE has better opportunities. I heard placements were average before I joined the college, but after joining, they have gone down. As the intake is too much, not all students get placed through the campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and beautiful. The campus is a mix of greenery scenes and buildings. The infrastructure is above average as it has nice lawns, good football fields, an amphitheater, and a big auditorium. The main attraction is a fountain at the heart of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty helpful when it comes to the syllabus and curriculum. Teachers are neutral. From my experience, teachers are neither too lenient nor too strict but hold their place in the middle. They help us when needed, also not minding us when they feel they don't need to.
Other: Campus life is good as it has many fests and campus activities going on.
