• Candidate’s credentials will be verified at the counselling centre.
• Aspirants need to appear in-person at their counselling centre.
• Credentials of candidates eligible for counselling and admission will be verified on stipulated dates, which will notified to the candidates.
• The Presidency University quota will be applicable for candidates who have qualified their BA/BSc (honors) degree through regukar examination of the university as per merit.
• Admission through non-PU quota will be based on the rank secured in PUBDET 2024 entrance exam.

Presidency University Kolkata admission is entrance-based. The college accepts exams such as PUBDET & PUMDET. Students must register online via WBJEEB portal. Key documents required include 10/12/degree mark sheets, entrance scorecards, caste certificates (if applicable) & identity proof. 

Based on 2026-2027 academic session admission to undergraduate courses at Presidency University Kolkata is conducted via PUBDET entrance exam managed by WBJEEB. To check the dates of the application process students need to check the website of the university. 

Presidency University Kolkata admission 2023 is expected to start in the month of August and September for UG and PG courses, respectively. During 2022 admission cycle, Presidency University Kolkata released its provisional general merit list for UG admission on August 27. This was followed by the release of first provisional merit list for admission, based on which students will be able to confirm their seats. The university currently offers UG, PG and doctoral-level courses in the field of Arts and Science. For admission to the University, WBJEEB conducted PUMDET and PUBDET exams for PG and UG Admission. There is no minimum cutoff for admission. You need to fulfill eligibility criteria which is 70% marks in 12th and entrance exam.
