For admission to the Presidency University, Kolkata , WBJEEB is conducted and PUMDET and PUBDET exams for PG and UG are considered for getting into this college. Overall, the candidate should pass Class 12 with 70% to 80% aggregate to be eligible for BSc at Presidency University, Kolkata. Since, the university accepts PUBDET scores for admission, the student should meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates should have cleared higher secondary examination Class 12 that is conducted by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam, not before 2020. The candidate must pass Class 12 with at least five recognised subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognised subjects.

• The Examination Fees can be paid by Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/UPI only.
• Application fees for PUMDET is INR 500 (Rupees five hundred only) plus the Bank’s Service Charges, if any.
• The fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.

Presidency University Kolkata released its provisional general merit list for UG admission on August 27. This was followed by the release of first provisional merit list for admission, based on which students will be able to confirm their seats. The university currently offers UG, PG and doctoral-level courses in the field of Arts and Science. For admission to the University, WBJEEB conducted PUMDET and PUBDET exams for PG and UG admission. However, from the academic batch of 2021-22, WBJEEB has cancelled both these exams and admission will strictly be based on merit scores obtained by the students at the undergraduate level and Class 12 for PG and UG admission, respectively.

One cannot get admission with 60% in class 12th  for admission one requires 70% or equivalent marks in class 12th.
