Wasted 4 years of my life in PRIST.
Placements: There is no chance of placement in this university, and not even a single company came to the on-campus requirement. We had placement cell, and they collected fee amount of Rs. 4,500 for training, but it is a waste of time and money. They don't even care about the students future. The only motive of the college is a fee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a big question mark for all the students who studied in this university. To be frank, when I entered the college, the building size was so big, but after entering into it, I was shocked that we don't have current facility and lab facility. Sometimes we do not have even drinking water facility. A road size food shop is better than the canteen inside the college. There are no special events in this college.
Faculty: We had very experienced good faculty members for the first year. The classes where regular, but all of the sudden a big tension occurred, when we entered the second year, we went to the college for a month without a single staff for the civil branch. We will reach the college by 9 AM. The routine work done by us for that one month was sleep, eat, movie, and returns home.

Dissatisfied for giving such a disguise education.
Placements: 1. Less than 40% - 50% of students got placed.
2. The highest salary is INR 17,000 and the lowest salary is INR 8000.
3. L&T is the top recruiting company. Mostly the college call for voice assistance companies.
4. Designing and Site Engineer is the job role offered.
Infrastructure: 1. Infrastructure is a medium that is compared to other Universities. They get a lot of money from students, but they are not improving their facilities and infrastructure.
2. Food quality is very bad in the mess, there is no medical facility, sports facility is okay.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are not worth being in the teaching profession, because they don't have any knowledge about the subject.
Their English knowledge is below the line, and they struggle a lot to handle subjects with English.
2. Students are suffering a lot by choosing PRIST University.
Other: 1. I thought civil engineering would never loose its value in job career. The best thing is I've been working for INR 9000 salary and the uneducated labor in my construction site gets INR 17000.
2. Teaching methods should be fully practical than being theoretical.
3. Events will be held for all the festivals, campus crowd is at a balanced level, they don't have Wi-Fi connectivity, the campus is surrounded by a highway and it is hard to get home daily, they are not giving more importance to extracurricular activities.

Students who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
