PRIST (deemed-to-be) University offers freeships/scholarships to students enrolled in its UG-level programmes. PRIST University has a good placement record. According to reports more than 80% of students get placed every year. BE/B.Tech admission in Tamil Nadu is done based on the online counselling process called TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. Candidates have to register and appear for the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA counselling held every year. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200. TNEA 2026 counselling process includes registration, assignment of random numbers, Certificate verifications, rank list publication, and finally the counselling. The counselling rounds will include steps like Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to the College/TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation.

BCom graduates can take up various job roles in the Finance sector of government organisations, such as government bank and regulatory bodies. They are also eligible for competitve exams, such as UPSC, SSC, etc., that lead to various jobs in the government sector. B.Tech program is the best course offered by PRIST University as it got 81 students placed which were maximum in this field followed by PG courses students. The Average package offered at PRIST University is 4.10 Lakh and in PG its almost same as 4.15 Lakh. Pg courses mainly inclused MBA , M.Tech and Msc . In Pg there were 24 student placed last year.

To secure admission at PRIST (deemed-to-be) University for BTech, candidates must apply for the programme in online/offline mode. They must also register for the TNEA counselling. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they are eligible for admission. To be eligible for PRIST BTech admission,   applicants must have passed Class 12 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects. They must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% in the case of reserved category candidates) in the abovementioned subjects.

BSc tuition fee at PRIST University ranges between INR 24,000 and INR 8.1 lakh for the entire course duration. The exact amount depends on the choice of specialisation. The mentioned fee has been sourced from the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative. Other components included in the total PRIST University fees are hostel fees, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will start the B.Tech application process for TNEA 2024 in May, tentatively.
