at PRSU, Raipur

At PG-level, PRSU offers a two-year MA course across 15 specialisations. These courses are offered on-campus and through PRSU-affiliated colleges. The admission process for all the specialisations is same. Interested candidates can visit the official website or the admission office of PRSU to apply for the course of their choice. Admission to MA courses in PRSU is based on merit in the PG entrance test conducted by the university. The university releases a merit list to announce the participant’s scores and the marks required for selection. There are multiple factors depending upon which the cutoff is determined such as aggregate marks of candidates in qualifying exams, number of applications received, seat intake, and the category of the candidate. PRSU MA total course fee includes several components such as tuition fee, hostel charges (if applicable), library caution money, identity card fee, laboratory caution money (in which there is a practical exam), alumni fee, etc. The fees for some of the components are further mentioned below:

PRSU is a well-known university in the state of Chhattisgarh. The university offers a two-year MA course across various popular specialisations such as Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, English, History, etc. The university provides good placement support to its students. PRSU has not released the course-wise placements report as of now. However, the university has released its NIRF 2023 report. Admission process at PRSU is merit based, with the university accepting PRSU Entrance Exam/ National level entrance exams/ Class 12 scores for the same. Students are advised to check the exams specific to their preferred course that they must attempt, on the official portal of the university.

To apply for any of the UG/ PG courses at PRSU, candidates have to fill an application form along with paying the application fee of INR 400. The institute accepts both online and offline applications. For an offline application, aspirants can visit the university campus and buy the admission form.

Candidates must submit the scores of the last qualifying exams/PRSU entrance exam/national level entrance exams. After the completion of the selection rounds, students must attend the counselling process held by PRSU. Later on, round-wise merit lists are released for candidates who get selected for the respective courses at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University.

Yes, PRSU admissions are open for UG, PG and PG Diploma courses for the academic year 205-26. Students must check the minimum eligibility requirements for their preferred course on the official portal. The selection criteria is merit based for all courses. However, the scores accepted by PRSU for the same differs in terms of PRSU PG entrance exam, National level entrance exam and Class 12 scores.

PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores. The course- specific entrance exams and their syllabus are available on the official portal. Students are advised to check the portal for the same.

Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur is one of the esteemed university which was established in 1964. The institute is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and approved by the AICTE. PRSU University, through its 29 teaching departments or schools of study and around 150 affiliated colleges, offers PG, UG, PG diploma, certificate, diploma, doctoral, and post-doctoral courses to students across Management, Science, Arts, Law, Commerce, and other streams. The university has a placement cell and students have the opportunity to work with eminent MNCs. 

For most UG courses, PRSU allows students to take admission on merit basis without an entrance exam. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same. However for certain UG courses and all PG courses, the university conducts entrance exams and students must appear for the same. Admissions to the above mentioned courses are merit based with the institution accepting entrance exams scores.
