The university offers MBA programmes in multiple specialisations along with a few MBA programmes in collaboration with top foreign Universities. Admission to all these programmes is granted basis of a merit list, which is prepared by giving 85% weightage to academic performance in graduation and 15% weightage to GD and PI conducted by the University. Apart from a two-year regular MBA degree course, the university also offers an integrated BTech + MBA course for six years. 

To get admission into BSc courses offered at Punjabi University Patiala, candidates are required to qualify their Class 12 from Science stream with relevant subjects (according to the chosen specialisation selcted by candidates. For admission, candidates must have completed their higher senior secondary from CBSE, PSEB, ISC, UP Board,   Maharashtra HSC, MPBSE, Punjabi University Admission. Additionally, the university also accepts valid scores of CUET for admission.
