UNIRAJ Highlights 2025
University of Rajasthan, known as UNIRAJ or UNIRAJ Jaipur was established in 1947 as the University of Rajputana and is approved by UGC. UNIRAJ Jaipur is accredited by NAAC with grade A. The UNIRAJ University of Rajasthan offers UG, PG, Certificate, and various other courses to students. RU Jaipur offers 230+ courses in fields such as Arts, Science, Management, Law, Education, Humanities, Social Science etc. through various departments and constituent colleges. The Uni of Rajasthan is famous for icourses, which are MBA and BTech.
Rajasthan University Jaipur Rajasthan has 9 faculties, 35 departments and 19 research centres. Apart from this, RU Jaipur is known for several research fellowship schemes for PhD students and various Departmental Research Scholarships, General Scholarship and University Fellowships.
University of Rajasthan course admissions are based on both merit and entrance exams. Some of the entrance exams accepted by Uniraj include URATPG, NEET PG, NEET SS and PIM-MAT, among others.
Uniraj scholarships are offered to students through the Government of Rajasthan schemes. University of Rajasthan has various scholarships, Dr. Ghanshyam Srivastava Commemoration Scholarship and Rukmani Devi Mishra Scholarship. These are offered based on certain eligibility criteria.

UNIRAJ Admission Process and Important Dates 2025
The modes of Rajasthan University admission are online and offline. Admission to various courses at University of Rajasthan is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are PIM-MAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and others. UNIRAJ offers admission to PG level programmes basis minimum marks between 45% and 50% in graduation. Students should have minimum percentage between 43% and 60% at Class 12 for admission to UG courses. The RU Jaipur offers sports quota admissions, wherein candidates must secure the weightage in sports, which is prescribed by the admission committee. UNIRAJ Courses and Fees 2025
Candidates must fill out the UNIRAJ Jaipur application form before the last date of admission. University of Rajasthan Jaipur eligibility criteria must be checked. Prepare for the entrance exams available for various UG, PG, and other courses provided by the university. RU Jaipur courses include BTech, MBA, BSc, MSc, BCA, BDes, LLM and various other courses in full-time mode. Admission to any of the following courses is granted on the basis of merit and an entrance exam. Uni of Rajasthan fee structure ranges from INR 1,465 to INR 4.84 Lakh, depending on the level of the course chosen.
Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 42% to 60% in Class 12 for UG level admissions. Whereas, for PG level admissions, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 40% to 60% in graduation. In addition to this, the UNIRAJ University of Rajasthan considers various entrance exams such as MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ PIM-MAT/ ATMA/ URATPG/ JEE Main/ NEET PG and others.

As per the recent cutoff records, the NEET PG ranks closed off for Round 5 at 100801 for MD in Forensic Medicine in 2024. On the other hand, courses such as MD in Anaesthesiology marked the rank of 2024 at 20953 and 118468 as the closing rank for MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. Similarly, UNIRAJ 3rd list for BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and BA Hons in Hindi Literature for the 2024 final round has also been released. In 1957, it possessed the name of University of Rajasthan, however, UNIRAJ was established in 1947, originally.
- The University of Rajputana came into existence on January 8, 1947.
- RU Jaipur had Dr. G.S. Mahajani (Principal of Ferguson College, Poona), as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University.
- The first foundation stone of Rajasthan University of Rajasthan campus was laid by Shri C. Rajagopalachari on February 20, 1949.
