Teachers are helpful. This year, placements are good. The infrastructure is great with huge hostels.

Placements: Nowadays, 45 students are placed in this course. The highest package is around 8 lakh per annum, or a minimum of around 3 or 4 lakhs per annum. MNCs nowadays are coming to our college. A maximum of 10 or more, according to interviews, got internships at construction companies. The top role offered is site engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a library, labs, testing machines to check the quality of material, and well-furnished classrooms. Wi-Fi is also provided to practice software like AutoCAD or STAAD Pro. Our college infrastructure is gigantic and has a beautiful view of the garden as well. Hostel rooms are big, and the mess offers quite good food, with an emergency ambulance available 24/7. We have a gym house and separate sports facilities for full enjoyment in extracurricular activities. Our college auditorium is gifted, and every festival is celebrated in our college, including Janmashtami, Ganpati, Shivjayanti, Yoga Day, Teacher's Day, with various clubs for drama, dance, etc.

Faculty: The teaching staff is very friendly and helps in every section. They provide other skills to win life's challenges and share their experiences; their knowledge is vast in every subject. The course is relevant. The focus is on projects, so they help in the industry. Other trainers come to the college to train students. The difficulty level is lower than in other universities; mostly, questions are from previous question papers and are not hard to study. Easy-to-access study materials boost our confidence. The percentage needed to pass the exam is 45 marks.

Other: I have an interest in making plans for interior design. When we go anywhere, we don’t face challenges, so that's the best thing in my opinion. Sectors like government and IT are open to us. More focus on project building with new technologies like AI tools is needed; site visits are sometimes missing, which is important for practical learning. All festivals and activities are celebrated on our campus.

Review of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

Placements: I think a maximum of 20% of the students got placed through our university. Others find their jobs on their own ability. The highest salary package offered is about 6 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. L&T, Tech Mahindra and Ultratech are the topmost companies that are recruiting students from our university. Almost 5% of the students go for internships in the field, and 20% of them students are doing it online nowadays. Civil engineer, site engineer and supervisor are top roles offered by companies.

Infrastructure: The quality of the college classrooms is good, but the quality of the hostel is not that good. Walls are cracked. There is seepage from walls, due to which, wall paint is very damaged. Wi-Fi is not available in college classrooms and in the hostel. The food quality is not good in the hostel mess. Medical facilities are also not available in the hostel. The playground is available for sports and games in our college.

Faculty: There are no proper faculty members in our college for proper subjects. Fresher lecturer staff members are appointed for teaching, and they don't have experience and proper knowledge. The teaching quality is very poor as they don't have experience. Students are graduate without any knowledge from college, so while interviews, they are not selected for a job due to less practical knowledge.

Other: I was a civil engineer graduate from RTMNU in 2017. I am much impressed with building works and the construction process, so I have chosen civil engineering as a career. Internships and AutoCAD practising are good for improving the course and ability.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty response and pointless college fees charges.

Placements: Placement for a civil student in the college is not very favorable. Maximum 1 campus drive is conducted in the college every year for civil branch students. And also the package is from 1 lac to 2 lac, max to max. The roles offered to the students for the job were mainly BPO type. The college does not provide any type of internship in vacations for the students to gain knowledge. Students have to look by themselves for an internship in any company.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good according to study but the campus facilities provided here are not very satisfying for the students. Wi-Fi is provided in the college from the past 1 year but that is also password protected. Only teachers have access to the college Wi-Fi and not the students. This does not let the students explore information during educational lectures.

Faculty: The faculty of civil engineering branch is not the best but relatively good. The faculty members give proper education regarding their specific subjects but fail in treating the students as their students. Syllabus, of course, is good but it needs to be made more future-oriented by including bookish knowledge as well as knowledge of outside. The curriculum should include site visits and educational camps.

Other: I want the college to improve its notes providing service. The college office was slow in its work, so I am expecting it to be more speedy in the next year because it causes trouble during documentation processes and other office work related to students.
