Ravenshaw: Great experience and value for money.

Placements: The placements in our college are average as I know. The highest package of our course ranges to 4 LPA. About 20% to 30% of students get internships from our university. Top recruiters are Godrej, ICICI Bank, etc. Top roles offered in our university are civil servants, bank manager, CA, scientists, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our company is excellent. The buildings are well-maintained and the garden, playground, and lawns are well-maintained by workers. The departments are well separated and maintained. Classrooms are very good but some air conditioners are not there and the benches are old. The library is excellent and has air conditioning, the books are of high quality and provides a great experience for self-study. The hostel buildings are well-built and cleaned properly, food in the mess is good and hygienic. Sports and games opportunities are excellent for students who play at the national level.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable although many of the teachers in my department are contractual. They teach well. The course curriculum is relevant but it is not that helpful for making students industry-ready. Passing marks in semester exam is 40 out of 100 i.e. 40%.

Other: I chose this course because it helps to be a teacher or professor. The course is not that much heavy so students can focus on developing other skills rather than only studying. The campus fest is excellent. I do enjoy and love the fests very much. I do have a great time at the fests, dancing, and singing all are excellent. The scholarship facility is also very good. Students don't face problems with scholarships that much.

It is one of the best institutions for graduation, post-graduation, and Ph.D. in Odisha.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing my B.Sc. Chemistry hons at Ravenshaw University. After graduation B.Sc and even after post-graduation M.Sc, there are no placements, especially in the science stream. You have to search on your own. Other technical and management courses pursuing students might get placed in companies like Wipro and Infosys.

Infrastructure: I belong to the department of chemistry which is the biggest department at Ravenshaw University. It has 4 lecture halls, 2 gallery halls, 3 separate labs for organic, inorganic, and physical, one separate library in our department, and 4 research labs. I won't say all hostels are well-maintained. Hostels are newly made. They are quite in good and hygienic condition. The food is very good. If you want to study in the hostel, there is a separate study room. The care takers and wardens are also very nice and caring.

Faculty: I'm currently pursuing a B.Sc. chemistry hons. I have to give 8-semesters in four years as per NEP. All faculty members are very good and cooperative. They consider your small to small doubts even if you ask them at an odd time. They are also very friendly. There is a mid-semester, end-semester, and practical exam each semester.

Other: It is one of the most beautiful campuses with a front lawn, a middle lawn, and a back lawn with trees all over the place. It has great infrastructure. The infrastructure includes a multi gym, tennis court, basketball court, 2 cricket grounds, a football ground, etc. It is a blessing for Ravenshaw that it admits good students and consequently, the results are good. Meticulous students put effort into their side to excel. Especially, science students perform better in their respective fields in future. There are books, newspapers, and magazines in Kanika Library for you to keep yourself up to date.

Ravenshaw University - Pride of Odisha.

Placements: Placements are not as good as in other colleges but you can get exposure to a lot of companies here. But in my experience, if we want to get placed in any reputed companies then we should seek other colleges as this college does not focus on placement but on higher studies.

Infrastructure: The library is very good and contains a lot of books. It is a very calm place to study. There is a fully working Wi-Fi on the campus. Classrooms are neat, hygienic, and well-built. The canteen food is very delicious. It has a big ground for sports as well as tremendous infrastructure for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and well-qualified. The teaching quality is super. Semester exams are pretty easy to score, not a very hectic schedule and students can develop them well here. The course curriculum is very relevant and to the point. Teachers also clear our doubts if any arise.

Other: The college is one of the best colleges for Bachelor and Masters courses. I think the infrastructure has some lagging parts to improve and extracurricular activities can be added a bit more. It will be a joyful experience for any newbie coming here.

Placements: It has very supportive good facility members in every field. Generally, alumni make collaborations with various companies for the improvement of students, like recently Coursera, a skill development company, provided us all courses from their website for free of cost.

Infrastructure: Our college has 3 libraries (e-resource, Kanika library, Century library) with AC attached, free Wi-Fi, and free Wi-Fi in every department. It has 7 boys' and 6 girls' hostels with a good canteen and cafeteria system. There are lots of competitions in every field.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in internal exams, with smart classrooms, many research labs, and a large playground for games like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, boys' and girls' gyms, beautiful gardens, and lawns. Semester exams are of a moderate level. They also prepare you for NCC and the Airforce.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Chemistry because I love Chemistry and want to go into the research field. The Chemistry department is the biggest department of Ravenshaw with 15 teachers, 5 to 6 experimental labs, 4 large classrooms, and 2 smart classrooms.

Our college is good financially weak students.

Placements: Big companies like Wipro, TCS, Jindal, Capgemini, Accenture, Ramco Cements, etc. come to recruit students. Off-campus very less number of students are recruited and on-campus more students are recruited. The average salary package is 2.5 to 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and hostel facilities are quite average. Infrastructure varies from department to department. Labs are big to accommodate a large number of students. Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled with clean washrooms. Each floor is fitted with an aqua guard filter, water cooler, and induction gas for cooking food. The food quality is not up to the mark. There is a dispensary that provides medical facilities to the students at no cost. Sports facilities are good. Students get a chance to represent the university in different sports and games. There is a big well-maintained ground which enables students to play different kinds of sports. There are two indoor sports complexes.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable but are not helpful. They may help you in certain situations. Course is not completed on time and students have to prepare themselves for the exams. Exams are not that difficult. Most of the questions are repeated from the previous year questions. So, if you prepare well, you would easily pass.

It is the best college in Asia and is definitely number 1.

Placements: Placements are not that worthy. Obviously, it is not a good college for placements. But it is the best college in Asia. Students from all over India have a desire to study in this college. I love Ravenshaw. Excellent scholars study in this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-class. Labs are well arranged. Attendants are not always present, but they assist you in your need. The hostel is nice, and the fee is way less than private colleges. It is a good place to study and fulfil your dreams. The field is huge.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, and their teaching is nice. Separate blocks are available for separate subjects. The infrastructure and labs are top-class. The curriculum is a little different and worthy. Administration is also very strict. Faculty members are helpful and kind. Teaching is done online nowadays.

Lots of happy memories will be carried forward. Got a lot of exposure also.

Placements: It's not an engineering institute. So jobs are offered only in a few streams like BBA, B.Com., MCA, MBA etc. Few private companies come for B.Sc. Physics and Chemistry also. There are also scopes for internships and for that you have to contact your respective faculty.

Infrastructure: Library is one of the best among state universities. Online facilities are available with E-books. Hostel is upto mark, bathrooms are fine. Food is really tasty and I can vouch for that. Classrooms are a bit old school type and ACs are there. Projector screens are there too.

Faculty: Teachers are recruited through NET exams so no doubt, they are highly qualified. And they also go to Europe and USA for Ph.D. and other courses. Most teachers are very experienced and are ready to help when asked. The practical classes are the highly interactive.

Other: Our batch had high cutoffs from 12th board exams. Highly competitive surrounding. There are regular fests and picnics. Scholarships are offered for economically backward students.

The university has high standards. The campus is beautiful, and its education quality is good.

Placements: Maximum students of our batch are interested in pursuing a higher degree in chemistry. No companies were coming for our course as it is a core subject, and students are interested in pursuing higher education in this stream. Students can do an internship from their side.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided are of good quality, and infrastructure is pretty good. The campus is very large. Our department has its own building, and laboratories are also good with sufficient equipment for conducting experiments. Our department has its own library, excluding the Kanika library of the university. Hostels are good, and the meals provided are also healthy.

Faculty: Teachers and staff members of our department are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers try to teach in a practical way so that students can understand easily. All the teachers are helpful. Teaching quality is also good, and practicals are conducted very well.

Other: The campus is very beautiful and large, and many events, fests and seminars are conducted. The playground is also large, and many state-level selections are conducted.
