As per the AICTE, New Delhi norms, the total seat intake for RGPV M.Tech course is 7921. GPV offers a full-time M.Tech course via its various affiliated and constituent colleges. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the institute to apply online. RGPV M.Tech admission is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), conducted by IIT Kanpur.

The fee for the MTech course at RGPV ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 2.50 lakh. The RGPV offers two to five-year M.Tech courses to students across Computer Science and Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and other streams. To get admission to MTech the students must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50-60% total and must qualify for JEE Mains and GATE.

RGPV cutoff for the BTech CER course is based on JEE Main ranks followed by the JEE Main Counselling. As per the RGPV cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank for BTech CSE stood closed at 122582 for the General All India category students.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. RGPV admission to most of the courses is primarily entrance-based. However, the university does offer a few courses, admission to which is completely merit-based. Hence, candidates can certainly get admission to RGPV courses without an entrance exam, given that they are seeking admissions to programmes with the merit-based selection.
