RGPV MBA Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates, Eligibility, Selection & Application Process

Yes, there is an MBA course at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. The MBA course is offered via the School of Applied Management. The PG-level course lasts for two years and is offered in a full-time mode. The RGPV follows a credit-based grading system of assessment for its MBA curriculum. To secure admission to the MBA course, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by counselling rounds. Candidates must apply for the CMAT exam for RGPV MBA admission. declared by the University. No refunds after the specified cutoff date.

After qualifying CMAT, participate in DTE MP Counselling. This involves online choice filling, where you select the preferred colleges. If allotted a seat, visit designated centre for document verification.

While CMAT is the primary route, RGPV may occasionally admit based on merit in graduation if seats remain vacant after all CMAT-qualified candidates are placed through College Level Counselling.

Yes, RGPV follows MP Government's reservation policy. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped. To claim these seats, students must provide valid domicile and category certificates.

The RGPV Main Campus (UTD) can be a preferred choice due to its lower fees, better faculty access, and direct university branding. If you are ready to pay higher fee then consider enrolling to top-tier private MBA colleges, for better placement opportunities and higher salaries after graduating.

Eligible students must apply through the Madhya Pradesh State Scholarship Portal or the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Required documents include income certificates, caste certificates, and previous academic mark sheets. 

The university has not released list of companies visited during placement drive for the year 2023. However as per external sources some of companies visited during recent placement drive are IBM, TCS Mumbai, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, and many more.

According to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during RGPV BTech and MTech placements 2023 stood at INR 4.25 LPA and INR 4.81 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 262 students were placed and 38 students opted for higher studies out of the total 548 students during RGPV BTech placements 2023. Earlier, the highest and average package offered during UIT RGPV placements 2022 stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 4.4 LPA, respectively. Further, 54 companies visited the campus and 542 students were placed during UIT RGPV placements 2022.

RGPV MBA placement report is not released. However, as per RGPV overall NIRF report 2024, the key highlights of RGPV PG 2-year (including MBA programme) placements over the past three years are presented below:

To check RGPV semester exam results the students must visit official portal of the university. Click on exam link and then select the 'Results' tab. Submit enrollment number method of marking and semester number. Type captcha and result will come out. The student can download or even get the result printed for future reference. If student faces any trouble contact university for any such case.

For admission to MBA course at RGPV, candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Students who passed graduation with minimum 50% total in any stream are eligible to apply for this course. However there is a five percent relaxation for candidates belonging from reserved categories and the state of Madhya Pradesh. These students are required to obtain minimum of 45% total in graduation. It's a mandatory step to qualify before applying for this course.

The total tuition fee for a two year MBA course ranges between INR 78,000 - INR 1.5 lakh. This fee is includes the fee for all affiliated colleges of RGPV that offers MBA course.  Apart from this, candidates also have to pay for hostel charges, if they apply for accomodation. Candidates also have to pay for other one-time charges such as Refundable Caution Money, Exam Development Fee, Prospectus Fee, etc.

RGPV accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the affiliated colleges. To cutoff was released for different BTech and other courses. To get admission to RGPV to BArch through MPPET, candidates must attain the required MPPET rank. To get adnmission toi BArch for the General Home State category, candidate must try to get a rank under 77 for admission to RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. For the affiliated college, Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, the target should be a rank under 84, for the General Home State category.
