MP BE 2026 Counselling Dates: Check Round Wise Schedule Here

Candidates seeking admission to BTech courses in engineering institutes in Madhya Pradesh have to apply through the MP BE 2026 counselling. Eligible candidates will be selected for admission through JEE Main 2026 scores. The authority will prepare a merit list of all the applicants based on the JEE results. The seat allotment result will be declared after choice filling and locking. The counselling is a centralised process conducted in two rounds. Check MP BE 2026 important events given below.

The schedule for counselling registration of MP BE admission is yet to be announced. The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will start the MP BE 2026 counselling registration tentatively in the last week of May 2026. To participate in the MP BE counselling 2026, candidates have to register online and fill in their choices. The process of MP BE 2026 registration will include filling of personal, family and education details, filling of collegs and course choices.

The schedule for MP BE counselling choice filling 2026 will be announced in May. After getting the registration cum e-verification slip, candidates have to fill choice of courses and institutions in order of priority. The MP BE choice filling must be completed as per the deadline. To submit the choices, candidates have to submit a fee, which includes the counselling fee, partial tuition fee, and portal fee.

The merit list will be published in June last week. The exact date for release of merit list will be announced in May. DoTE publishes the MP BE counselling general merit list. The merit list is compiled based on the JEE Main scores of the candidates. The MP BE 2026 counselling merit list can be checked online on the official website and from the table below. Based on the merit list, candidates are allotted seats in the MP BE counselling participating colleges.

The MP BE seat allotment result shall be made available on official website under respective logins of candidates. The result of seat allotment will be announced in June.

The MP BE counselling is held in two rounds. In each counselling round, seats are allotted to candidates based on their ranks in MP BE merit list. The allotment of seats is done as per ranks of candidates in merit lists and choices filled by them. The category of candidates shall also play a significant role in seat allotment process.

Candidates can upgrade their allotted seat by selecting the upgradation option. When a candidate opts to upgrade, they might get a better seat in the upcoming rounds of MP BE counselling 2026. When a candidate submits their option for upgradation online, their previous allotment will automatically cancel, and they will have to obtain a new allotment letter. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotment, they must report to the newly allotted institution by the last date shown in the allotment printout and obtain the status.
