The college has great learning environment with supportive faculty.
Placements: A good percentage is required, but a student with good skills is more important in my opinion. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Students having good knowledge of problem-solving can pass the interviews. There are many roles offered, but it's up to us what we prefer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good and beautiful. The hostel is clean and great. Infrastructure consists of a lake, trees, gardens, statues, and much more. There is free Wi-Fi, clean labs, and larger classrooms. The library consists of different types of books. It has been a great experience.
Faculty: The faculty is great, friendly, and well-experienced. The staff is great and the way of teaching is too nice. The curriculum is greater, well-planned, and designed with exams, holidays, and events. Each year consists of two semesters, and a total of 8 semesters in 4 years. I had a great time out there.

According satisfied due to good placement around kolhapur and nice and big campus.
Placements: 50% of students passed in the academic year 2024-2025 from B.Tech CSE, with the highest package offered being around 5 to 7 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, Bitwise, and many startups visit the campus. Around 60% of students got internships, and top roles included software development engineer, full stack developer, back-end engineer, software tester, data analyst, and python developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are top-class compared to other colleges in Kolhapur, with a decent environment, greenery, cleanliness, sanitation, modern classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories. Hostel rooms are good with 4 beds each and plenty of rooms, maintaining proper cleanliness and comfort. Offering a good environment for self-study with a natural view outside the windows. Food quality is decent, though the monthly mess fee is around 3500, medical facilities are top-notch, and sports are arranged and conducted nicely every year, enjoyed by students, with separate facilities for kabaddi, football, cricket, volleyball, and basketball.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but honestly speaking, some faculty members need to be replaced. Otherwise, SGU has some of the best faculty members compared to other colleges in Kolhapur. The course curriculum is updated frequently and maintained according to industry needs. SGU has many MoUs with companies. The difficulty level is lower than other colleges and helpful for students, which helps them focus on skill development rather than just passing exams. So, I can rate the syllabus 8 out of 10. I cut 2 points because the SGU syllabus also contains some unnecessary subjects which are not useful. The passing percentage is almost above 70%.
Other: I chose the course beacuse I am interested in coding and I love building programs and I am excited to build a career in it. I can suggest that their should be a small change in course like the removal of extra unnecessary subjects and add some more core subjects instead
Events and fests are the best the college by organizes its umang (annual gathering) so that people can explore some extra curricular skills like dance and music etc. In them. The College invites celebrities while in umang. Every year. College has scholarship scheme like ebc. Ews. Extra and merit based scholarship.

I am satisfied with the faculty members but they should change the teaching manner.
Placements: A little smaller amount of students get placements. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 1.2 LPA. There are very less companies that come to college for campus selection and choose the students wisely by taking few tests and not taking them only through their marks.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good and tidy. They clean the college regularly. No one can enter without an ID card the keepers of the college. The hostel is supportive. They keep supporting students when they need their help and give them the necessary essential.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. The curriculum must be changed a little bit. Semesters are very hard. Semesters are very close. There is a vast syllabus everyone cannot learn this fast so they should plan something regarding this so that students get time and score easily.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides hardware as well as software knowledge. Surroundings are good. The college has good infrastructure.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my college is about up to 84%, approximately and the average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys and there are other companies like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are available in the hostel like well-maintained rooms, purified water, good-ventilated rooms, and hot water facilities. Wi-Fi facility is also available and also there are mess and canteen facilities on campus. Medical facilities, indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available.

Loved the campus life and colleagues.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in my course or program is not clearly specified. Some information is there about placements that approximately 88% of students got internships. Top requirement companies are Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, and many more. It is not clearly specified.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for my department are normally good with well-equipped classrooms featuring modern equipment, smart labs, and a well-stocked library. The quality of facilities of the hostel is good. There is a mess hall that provides good food.
Faculty: In my course, professors provide a well-structured curriculum with a knowledgeable progression of topics and covering key concepts. The teaching quality is also better. Exams are appropriately challenging according to their courses. We have semesters and mid-exams.
Other: I chose my course because I have a passion for software engineering. The best things about my course are good opportunities, events, fests, and a campus crowd. There is good connectivity with other students and faculty. We have hackathon competitions.

Hello Satyajeet,
The fees in all professional colleges in Maharashtra are fixed by a committee appointed by Govt Of Maharashtra. The fees here are about Rs.1L per annun. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about fees here even if it pertains to earlier years.
