To get admission to BTech at Sharda University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, which is to pass Class 10 with 60% aggregate & Class 12 with a minimum of 60% to 70% aggregate (60% aggregate in PCM Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology (without any gap between Class 10 & Class 12 and 50% aggregate in Maths). Sharda University BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for either SUAT or JEE Main  (All India rank of up to 3 lakh) entrance exams with a valid score. The final selection is done based on the score of the respective entrance exam and the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview (PI) round. Those who apply via SUAT scores are required to appear for a PI round conducted at the School of Engineering Technology. Sharda University offers Merit-Based Scholarships to BTech students. Yes, the university provides a 100% waiver in tuition fees to students who have scored 95.00 and above % marks (PCM/ PCB) in SSE or equivalent examination and have a JEE Main rank up to 25000. Such students are exempted from paying the tuition fee but have to pay other fee components.

After realization of application fee of INR 1500/1000 (For only Girls) Sharda University will send the confirmation information to Exam. AT who will activate the Online Examination Booking System (OEBS) for the applicant. 

For admission to BSc Colleges to pursue BSc courses, the candidates need to appear for the entrance exam. Some of the important entrance exams include NPAT, CUET, SET, CUCET, TS EAMCET, KCET, BHU UET etc. Admission to BSc courses is also done based on merit scored in the class 12th board exam

Sharda University BSc eligibility criteria can be different from one specialisation to another. The minimum criteria is that the student must be Class 12 or equivalent pass in Science stream. It should have been passed with an aggregate ranging from 50% to 60%. The students must be at least 17 years of age by Dec 31 of the academic year. 

Sharda University has a decent record of placements for courses like MBA, MCA and BTech, etc. The overall placement percentage is yet to be released. However, the University has placed 100% of the MBA and 91% of the BTech students in the academic year 2024-25.
