Review of School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Sharda University.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in reputed companies, with an average package of 6 LPA. Our college also provides internships in core companies of Greater Noida, where we practically enhance our knowledge and learn positive attitude. They also organise 2-3 company visits every semester.
Infrastructure: Sharda University has one of the best infrastructures among all the colleges in India. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Separate labs are available for every subject, with well-trained lab assistants. It has also got a huge library, where students can read and issue books.
Faculty: Sharda University never compromises with students' careers, so it has the best and well-qualified lecturers. They provide one mentor for every group of 5 students. They help students only not in academics but also with any problem they face in the university. Semester exams are very easy to clear, we have to attend the classes regularly.

The kind of automobile and fluidics lab they have is very rare in the area.
Placements: In my batch, around 70% of students got placed. The highest package was 6 LPA whereas the lowest was 3 LPA. Mahindra and Mahindra and Tega industries were the top recruiters. Almost 50-60% of students got internships in companies like Tata power, Tata motors, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and lab facilities present in the college are very good. All the labs are well-equipped with machinery. Wi-Fi and 24x7 backup are already present there. A group of well-maintained hostel equipped with a number of facilities like gym, playground, Nescafe, CCD, Sagar Ratna reading rooms are present. The mess food is very good and contains items for students from all over India or even abroad. Special hostels for NRI and foreign students. A very big hospital with free medical facilities is available for students as well as faculty members. The medical facilities are the best in the area. Different kinds of playground including courts for Basketball, TT, Volleyball, Football, Tennis and cricket are present in the campus and is maintained nicely by the admin.
Faculty: Highly qualified professors mostly from the premier tier-1 colleges teach the student in a very efficient and effective manner using different practical methodologies. The course curriculum adheres strictly with AICTE and UGC approved curriculum. This help students crack any placement or competitive exam they are appearing for and also the highly interactive labs make them industry ready.
Other: Mechanical engineering has produced the best results in the campus. The kind of automobile and fluidics lab they have is very rare in the area. The faculty to student ratio is also very good that helps students to get better guidance in their studies and annual projects. The annual fest chorus is the best student fest I have ever seen. Every year top most celebrities of each field visits campus in the fest to perform or to judge Shows like fashion show, nukkad natak, Dance competitions etc. Like every other institution, Sharda also needs some improvement. There should be more foreign guest lectures and tie ups in the field so that students can have better exposure to the world.

The infrastructure is great, and even the staff is one of the best in Greater Noida.
Placements: Around 30% of placements, the highest package is around 20 lakhs. Mostly in mechanical, there aren’t too many companies, but the automobile industry is very interesting and has very high-paying jobs. The hands-on projects are the best to maintain a clean CV and resume.
Infrastructure: The college is a beauty, with everything you need. But the hostels are one of the worst, with bad food and small rooms. The food is tasteless. Trespassing is a very easy task for boys. Shops close post 11 pm. Hostel kids are usually good, but some are useless.
Faculty: Teachers are great at their work. They explain with practical examples. Exams are a bit relaxing, and you will never find your schedule hectic. Classes do have gaps. The infrastructure is good for a walk and to sit with friends. Almost every corner has a shop.

College is good but placements are not good.
Placements: Students got placed but not in core companies of our branch, most of them got placed in the sales company. We didn't get the chance for the core mechanical companies. Our college didn't give us that much chances to opt core mechanical companies they always tend us to sit in the placement of sales companies, they just wanted to show that they provide placements, but they only want to show good placement record of the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, infrastructure is good. Quality of teachers are good. But placements is not good they will tell you to give interview in sales companies. Hostels are good. Food provided was also good, canteen is okay. Medical facility is very good because the hospital is inside the campus. Sport and games facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well qualified, there teaching quality was good. Yes, this course curriculum was relevant, yes it makes students industry ready it will teach us about how the machines work and how we can make life of human easier. Teaching quality was very good and teachers are good but not all the teachers.
Other: I chose this course because I love to work with machines. I was very curious about how the machine works.

Faculty is good, placements are good, infrastructure is better.
Placements: The lowest packages were 3 Lacs and the highest package was around 10 to 15 Lacs. 70% of the students got internships from our course. The placement percentage of the students in the course was 60%. Many companies like Mahindra and many others.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure available in our university are good. For example, Wi-Fi is good, classrooms are good, and the teachers are very helpful. The library is one of the best on campus. Hostel food provided by the mess is good. Medical facilities are great. The university holds tournaments in various sports and has good teams for sporting events.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable in their corresponding fields. All the teachers that are teaching have PhDs or are pursuing PhDs in their corresponding fields. The course curriculum is relevant. They are teaching us many software tools to make us industry-ready. There are many clubs that we can join to boost our chances of getting into the industry. The seniors are helpful. The semester exams are not that difficult in our college. In simple words, if you study, you pass the exams—that’s all there is to it.
Other: I chose this course because I like machines and building new machines, and I like designing the machines and the problem-solving that comes with it. There are not many things to improve in our course. Many times, it’s just about the timing of the classes, more or less. They give us lab time and some freedom to work on the projects that we want to do after getting permission from the facilities. There are events in the college. The scholarships are good.
