B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) - Batch of 2029

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: I'm really happy with the placement cell. They don't just hand you a list of companies but they actively prepare you for interviews and technical grounds. A lot of top tech firms visit the campus. The packages have been great. If you put in the hard work and build your skills then there are opportunities.
Infrastructure: Shoolini's infrastructure has nature with modern tech. The Yogananda Library is world-class and it is open 24/7. Hostel life is super comfortable, rooms are well-furnished, the mess food is actually good, and the campus is incredibly safe. Easily one of the cleanest campuses.
Faculty: Professors here are approachable and genuinely act as mentors. I love that the curriculum focuses heavily on real-world application and research instead of just old textbooks. The exam system is fair, transparent, and balanced between internal assignments and final papers.

Great infrastructure, updated curriculum, and more. Come if a remote location is not a problem.
Placements: The real data is that about 90% of all students got placed. The top package this year is about 12 LPA, the lowest is about 3 LPA, and the average package is about 6 LPA. There are no very big names among the companies (on-campus), and the top ones are TCS & Infosys. Most students got internships, including many completing their 1st year. Top roles are related to SDE, Data Science, and AI.
Infrastructure: The library is pretty big and useful, with a huge set of books. Wi-Fi is amazing (hostel excluded). You'll find exceptions even on roads while you are walking on campus. Classrooms & labs for this course in the AI building are unarguably one of the best in the country, not exaggerating. Hostel rooms are comparable to the ones from dorms of international universities, with the option of attached washrooms too. Even common washrooms are clean all the time as they're thoroughly cleaned several times throughout the day. Mess is pretty, and food is decent too. We have to pay extra for non-vegetarian food.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is mediocre, though some are great, and some are just pathetic. Curriculum is 100% relevant, and not a single subject is useless. If you decide to study sincerely according to the curriculum, you'll be more than ready for jobs. Semester exams are online and fairly very easy, which is a con for me, as most people secure more than 8CGPA. Pass percentage is over 95%.
Other: B.Tech CSE courses and most other courses, in fact, have a very relevant curriculum to today's industries & development. Things that can be improved, though, are some teachers and exam methods. The campus is one of the cleanest in the country, absolutely gorgeous. There is a lot of scope for every type of extracurricular activity. Scholarships are good, with unique ones like the single parents' scholarship. There are several events & fests. Honesty, you most likely won't even go to half of them after 2 months, but it's a good thing, it brings a lot of opportunities.

This university is good for your overall development.
Placements: The college offers good placements, especially in B.Tech CSE and Biotechnology. They provide a minimum package of 4-8 LPA in this field, and the highest package might be 42 LPA in 2026. So, the placement is good. Companies like TCS and Infosys come to the university. The university also provides internships on campus and out of the university too.
Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, and the hostels provide very good services, especially in my hostel, for village students. The boys' hostel is located off the campus, and the girls' hostel is on the campus. There is 24 hour Wi-Fi service available. The labs are good, and there is an Apple lab in the AI block.
Faculty: Faculty members are good because they solve every doubt of students in the class as well as on other mediums like WhatsApp. The courses are designed according to industrial needs and modern requirements. For example, I am from B.Tech CSE AI, so I need to be industry-ready always.
Other: Campus life is good, not too good, but there is a good atmosphere. You are surrounded by mountains, and especially in the rainy season, you feel like you are in the clouds. The fests are awesome, especially Moksh, because it's the biggest fest in the universe.

The environment and atmosphere here are really good.
Placements: Well, not every student gets placed obviously because only those who work for it will land a job or placement. But overall getting a good placement is hard, but our batch i.e., B.Tech CSE is providing bootcamps so that we can improve our skill set. The placement cell is trying really very hard to make sure that there are as many as possible placements.
Infrastructure: Well, I would say that the facilities are fairly good and good Wi-Fi speed, and libraries (study rooms) are there. Overall the facilities are good and the hostel is near campus. It is a very big advantage for me at the very least. Also, there are proper labs in my department.
Faculty: There are many helpful teachers who genuinely enjoy when students ask questions. The curriculum and schedule for exams and other relevant events are provided at the beginning of semester. This allows students to plan their studies effectively and stay prepared throughout the year.
Other: I chose my course basically because of my interest in the field of computer and AI. This is the driving force for me to choose this course.

The college is average.
Placements: I guess around 60-70 percent of students got placed but not at a very good package. Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. Roles offered are software developer, AI engineer, data analyst, full stack developer, etc. Many students got internships based on their interest and all.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good not so bad. Wi-Fi is average. Classrooms are of average quality, they might be okay. I am not a hosteller, so I do not know about hostel rooms. Mess and canteen infrastructure is also average. Labs department is average.
Faculty: Average interaction with teachers. The class schedule is not proper. The course curriculum is kind of relevant. Students have to work hard. The university alone does not make you industry-ready. The semester exams are not tough not easy. Exams are of a moderate level, and teachers are helpful. Faculty behaviour and teaching are average.

Beauty of the campus in the lap of the mountains
Placements: Shoolini University offers 100% placement as it focuses on the career of students. The minimum package is 5 LPA, the average is 10 LPA, and the highest is 18–25 LPA, which can go even higher. The highest I know is 45 LPA in 2024. Compared to other universities, the placement is pretty good.
Infrastructure: Shoolini University is located in the mountains. Wi-Fi is pretty good. They also have an Apple Lab, which consists of 20–25 iMacs for student use. Students can use the library as its Wi-Fi is good. The environment is very peaceful. The food in the central mess is very tasty and a must-try.
Faculty: Faculty at Shoolini University is very helpful. They help students in their courses and guide them for their future. They never judge a student, whether it is regarding studies or any other issue. Exams are set in a way that students need to be well prepared, which is a good point.
Other: The points I like about the campus are that it is less crowded and peaceful. Campus is very beautiful. The weather is awesome.

I love the infrastructure and vibe, but exams are not very strict, so cheating happens.
Placements: The placements here are very average, around 5–7 LPA. I heard that in 2025, a 19 LPA company came, but did not hire anyone.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure of Shoolini University are top-tier, with no complaints here. The fee is kind of high, but facilities are also good. For example, if the electricity goes out in the area, there is no problem for hostel students as they provide a 24/7 power supply. Sometimes, I would also like to mention the climate, which is quite lovely, not too hot like in the plains, but there is a little water supply problem.
Faculty: Exams are alright here. You have to study to pass or get a good CGPA every semester for placement eligibility. Otherwise, they will not let you sit in placement rounds in your 7th or 8th semester. So you must pay attention to that, or else you will not get any help. They do not help much anyway.
Other: Overall, come here if you want to enjoy college life. If you want a placement-focused college, this is not for you.

Overall review of Shoolini University .
Placements: Placements of this college is not much good. I would say satisfactory. A large number of students still not get placed every year. And placements of only few branches is AVERAGE like CSE, biotech, management. Others are below average, just bad. Also major part of students get placed for below 3 Lacs per month.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. It has various facilities like library, labs, hostels etc. The campus is so beautiful as it's on mountains. So mountains lovers can enjoy this campus. There are a lot of hostels according to price. And every one of them is well maintained.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, well qualified from universities like IIT but some of them are qualified from this university. So basically some professors are Alumni too. Between course content is good and it's also updated according to UGC. They teach updated materials. They also teach technical parts with lab conducted every week.
Other: If you want to secure your future and want a good ROI, please don't choose this university. You can come if you love mountains or wants to travel to nearby places.
