SHUATS utilizes an entrance examination for B.Tech admissions. Yes, SHUATS is good college for B.Tech, the fees is moderate and education facilities are very good in this college  .The rank of this college is 27 in NIRFand the B.tech courses of electronic electrical, civil and mechanical are good in thus college but some other engineering courses such as agriculture engineering, dairy engineering and food teach engineering are among the top 10 in this country especially dairy engineering is ranked 2 in this country.

Firstly the candidate has to pass the class 12 exam with 50 percent marks for general and for reserved category 45 percent after they have clear the entrance exam which is conducted by the University.

The 2023 or 2024 placement data is unavailable for Engineering courses. Earlier, out of 363 BTech students 85 were placed successfully during 2022 placements. Further, the median package stood at INR 3.75 LPA. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), the number of BTech students placed has been fluctuating. For applying for BTech at SHUATS Allahabad one must have completed 12th from CBSE or UP board with atleat 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category.

After satisfying this criteria, students have to qualify the SHIATS entrance exam. Which completely merit based.
