Sikkim Manipal University accepts candidates for the BCom program based on merit lists. Candidates must follow the multi-step admission procedure, which is conducted completely in online mode. Find below the detailed SMU admission process:

Step 1: SMU BCom Application Process 2025

The SMU Application process is completely online. Candidates visit the Sikkim Manipal University’s official website and fill out the online registration form by providing all the details. Now candidates must fill out the online application form, upload all the required documents, and pay the application fee.

Step 1.1: Visit the SMU's official website, and click on the 'Apply' icon. You will be directed to the registration page.

Step 1.2: Fill out the online registration form with all the required details, including name, email, phone number, etc.

Step 1.3: Verify your phone number. OTP/mail will be sent to your registered phone number and email ID.

Step 1.4: Now, candidates need to log in to the application form using the verified email ID/phone number and password. Fill out the application form with accurate details.

Step 1.5: To access the upload document section, Candidates must pay the application fee via UPI, Internet Banking, and/or Debit/Credit Card.

Step 1.6: Once the payment is done, upload all the required documents. And submit the complete application form.

Step 2: SMU Merit List

Sikkim Manipal University offers admission for a few of its courses via a merit list, which is prepared based on candidates' performance in the qualifying exams. The merit list is released on the University’s website.

Step 3: Final Admission

Once the merit list is out, candidates must make the SMU BCom fee payment and finalise their admission. The BCom course fee ranges from NR 99,000 to INR 1.7 lakh. Along with the tuition fees, candidates might have to pay a one-time admission fee of INR 2,000. At the time of registration, candidates need to pay INR 1,000 and a caution deposit fee of INR 5,000 (which is refundable).
