It was a very pleasant experience.
Placements: Most of the students were interested in research work and thus applied for further studies only. But the placement in core fields is lesser. More IT sector companies come for placement. But the rate of placement for students is higher. Just a better placement in core fields would be better.
Infrastructure: It was the best with a good library which was available for students all the time. I have spent time in the library a lot it also has a reading room and a canteen. There's a gym which is available to all students. The food in the cafeteria is good with lots of options. The labs are well-equipped and the classroom is also well-equipped with a projector.
Faculty: The faculty members were very encouraging and always motivated us to do better. The course had all the required syllabus and all the syllabus was covered. Even though due to pandemics all the classes were online the support and guidance from the teachers were great.

Review of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.
Placements: JLL, Titan, Simplex, Amazon and other good and renowned companies come for the placement drives. Companies like Simplex take you as a trainee engineer if they find that you potential and train you in the respected civil engineering field and make you industry-ready.
Infrastructure: Facilities like free Wi-Fi, one of the best labs, air-conditioned classrooms with audio-visual facilities, gym, indoor games, swimming pool and steam bath facilities are available. A canteen is available. The campus environment is peaceful to study.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and well qualified. They are very helpful and answer all your queries. They provide you with good notes, quiz sessions and assignments that keep you busy and bring the best of you. The curriculum is good and makes you field-ready.
Other: As SMIT is one of the nearby and best institutes on northeast, I chose this institute.

Great Learning, Great Placements, Great Extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 98% students were placed in our batch with the highest package around 18LPA and median package being around 6.5LPA. Top Recruiting companies includes Daikin, Bosch, etc. 100% students in our batch those who applied for internship got internship and top roles that were offered were of Structural engineer, civil engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Great hostel facilities, good food, and great sports complex. Wi-Fi can be accessed from anywhere in the college and library is one of the best in the region. Atal Incubation center is recent to boost the spirit of young entrepreneurs. Canteen and cafes are present inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and highly qualified. They are friendly yet disciplined. Both theoretical and practical aspect of every topic is covered in the class. There are assignments group projects and different industrial trainings which takes place. Course is highly relevant and makes student industry ready.
Other: There are lots of fests and tournaments which takes place round the year. And various tournaments too. Good students are offered scholarships. Campus surrounding is the best one could dream of. Scholarships are also provided to Sikkim students.

It is an outstanding college. It has world-class infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placement. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Students did an internship in NITs and IITs. Almost 100% of the students got an internship. Many of our batchmates got placement in government colleges, universities like Sikkim University and NITs. Even some are pursuing a PhD in a very reputed university.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility and local network in our college were good. In all labs, computers were connected with the internet. Some of the research labs are funded by AICTE and ISRO. Projectors are available in all classrooms and labs. It provides a departmental and central library. Both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms are available in the hostel. Hostel rules and regulations were followed by all students. Quality of food served is good. There are many canteens inside the campus. Night canteen was also available in all hostels. It has dispensary inside the campus with good doctors and sisters. Established Marena for indoor games was fantastic. It provides a world-class gym. Several tennis courts, volleyball courts, football ground and cricket ground are available. For all the sports we had the instructors to guide us.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good and informative. Our faculty members help the weak students, and they gave a proper direction to the good students. A practical demonstration was fantastic. The course curriculum is relevant and updated based on the company needs. It makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because to improve my knowledge in the field of technology and SMIT was the best option for me due to the availability of research labs and well-known faculty members. The best things about the course are we had an opportunity to move into different directions in the field of technology due to that so many specialisation subjects are offered by the department. The department called so many industries expert for the specialisation subjects, but it should improve the course by calling some resource person from foreign universities or industry. Students are well-groomed by the faculty members. There were so many activities that were initiated by SMIT for the betterment of us. Even the graduate student can interact with masters students, and they can share their ideas. The surrounding of the campus is also very good. We can get the things easily.

It is the best college I have ever seen.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placements. All the students got placed in established companies, and one student got admission in a well-established university. Some students got placed in well-developed companies in Kolkata, while some got jobs in the government sector.
Infrastructure: There are well-established labs in our college. The quality of the food served in our college is very good. This institute has a huge library, and we can issue up to 5 books. The quality of the food served in our canteen is also good.
Faculty: All the teachers here are well experienced. I really enjoyed my course. The course curriculum is very relevant, and the entire syllabus is up to the mark. We have two seasonal exams.
Other: Our college has well Wi-Fi facility and very peaceful surrounding to study.

Placements: 100 percent students got internship in various renowned companies. The students got various opportunities to showcase their potential in different renowned companies and got the opportunity to learn about recent trends of computer Science and engineering.
Infrastructure: SMIT has very good infrastructure for academic was well as for research activities. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and internet connectivity. The labs are very well-equipped. Hostels facilities are very good and the quality of food is well maintained.
Faculty: The faculty members are very qualified and every faculty member has special area of specialisation. The faculty members are very helpful qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is made considering the recent trends to make the student industry ready.
