During Sikkim Manipal University placements 2022, a total of 567 UG and 65 PG students were placed according to the NIRF report. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the regulatory bodies such as Medical Council of India (MCI), Nursing Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapy, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the Distance Education Council. Moreover, the university has also been ranked by multiple ranking bodies. The university has been ranked 13 by India today for ‘The best Medical Universities in India’ and ranked 8 by outlook for under ‘Top 10 Technical Universities’.

Sikkim Manipal University is recognised by the UGC and is approved by various regulatory bodies. SMU - Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok is one of the premier institutions for courses in the field of Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences and Business & Management Studies, etc. With a total of 130 courses, the institution has been recognised by ranking bodies, such as NIRF, India Today, Outlook, Outlook-ICARE. The University offers courses with a total tuition fees ranging from INR 44.7 K to INR 1.05 Cr.
