Yes, SOA University conducts its own entrance examination, SAAT, for admisison into its offered courses. Apart from that, national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET, CLAT, CAT, etc., are also accepted for various courses.

From the past three years, the CAT cutoff remained consistent for SOA University for open category. Even, as per the SOA University CAT cutoff 2024, the MBA cutoff stood at 25 for the General AI category candidates. Yes, it is hard to get admission at SOA University. The university offers UG, PG, and PhD courses across various streams such as  Agriculture, Law, Medical, Management, Engineering and others. SOA University admission for UG and PG programs is based on SOA's entrance exam i.e. SAAT. Apart from that, national-level entrance exams such as NEET, JEE Main,  CAT, XAT,  GATE, etc. are also accepted for the admission process.

According to the SOA University NEET SS Cutoff 2024, the overall cutoff range fell between 470 and 5385 for the General category students who belong to the All India quota. Going by the 2024 cutoff data, the cutoff might fall somewhere around this range.

Yes, the University has a Training and Placement Cell that focuses on three aspects of a career such as Placement and subsequent career, Higher Education, and Entrepreneurship. The Cell organises training modules as a part of regular classes starting from the pre-final year of all the batches so that they get ready before the start of the campus recruitment drives.

The SOA University NEET SS Cutoff 2025 will be available after the results are announced. Until then, according to the SOA University NEET SS Cutoff 2024, the most in-demand specialisation was DM in Oncology, followed by DM in Neonatology, with the last round cutoff of 436 and 470, respectively for the General AI category candidates.

Yes, SOA University does offer a BBA course for the duration of three years, and it is offered in full-time mode. In addition, the university offers an integrated BBA + MBA course for the duration of five years, divided into ten semesters. The basic eligibility criteria required for admissions to BBA courses is that candidates must complete their Class 12 with an aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Admission is based on candidates' achieved scores in SAAT (SOA Admission Test). 

SOA University offers lateral entry for BTech, BPharm and BHMCT programs. It is beneficial for the students to get direct admission to these courses through lateral entry. The university also provides scholarships to the lateral entry students. The eligibility criteria for the lateral programme are discussed below:

·       BTech: Students need to pass a minimum three/ two years Diploma examination with 60% marks for the general category and 50%marks for the SC/ ST/ OBC category from the State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Odisha or equivalent.

·       BHMCT: Students need to pass the Diploma examination in any discipline with 45% marks for the general category and 40% for the SC/ ST/ OBC category.

·       BPharm: Students need to pass the DPharm course from the institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
