Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research conducts its own entrance exam for admission to UG, PG and MBA programmes. The test is conducted for three hours and includes a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. Besides, the deemed-to-be university also accepts NEET-UG, NEET-MDS and other national-level entrance exams for admission to specific courses.

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education admission is both merit and entrance-based. MBBS	Candidates must have passed the HSC examination /equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English. Aspirants have also secured not less than 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) in the entrance exam to apply for the MBBS course.
