Takshashila University admits students to its BCom course based on fulfilment of eligibility and selection criteria. The total tuition fee to pursue a BCom at Takshashila University ranges from INR 1.5 Lacs to INR 1.8 lakh. At the last stage of Takshashila University BSc admissions, students who are offered admission are required to pay the first installment of the first-year fees. The selection to the Takshashila University BTech course is purely based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Candidates need to complete Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subject and optional subjects such as Chemistry, Computer Science or Biology with at least 45% aggregate in MPC for the General Category (40% aggregate for the reserved category).
