MSU Baroda cutoff 2026 is out for BE/BTech programmes based on JEE Main and GUJCET. The cutoff was released as the opening and closing ranks across different categories belonging to the AI and HS quotas. For students belonging to the General AI quota, the JEE Main Round 1 closing ranks varied between 900019 and 907112 for BE admission. Considering the ranks, the most and least competitive specialisations for admission were Computer Science and Engineering and Textile Processing Engineering, respectively.
- For GUJCET, the first round closing ranks were between 2009 and 43211 for BE admission among the General category students under the Home State quota. Analysing the first round cutoff, we can say that the competition was higher for the General category under the HS quota as compared to the AI quota for BE admission. Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda awards various scholarships to students as financial support. The University has a special programme known as the Directorate of Students’ Welfare Committee to provide financial support to the economically weaker students studying in the University. The core members of this committee verify all aspects before finalising the list of shortlisted students. Since the academic year 2012-13, DSW has provided INR 6,70,04,852 (6 crore seventy lakhs four thousand eight hundred fifty two rupees) as scholarship to 16,593 deserving students. Similarly, for the academic year 2020-21, a total amount of INR 90,40,490 has been offered to 2004 students.
