It is very good college for BA LLB.It is one of the top 4 law colleges in India and the course structure is very good and relevant and which will help you to take up your law career in future .The placement opportunities are also very good which will offer almost 100 percent placements .

There are ample number of activities which one can take part in. Students can take part in internal university rounds for debating and mooting, and participate in various prestigious moot courts and debates based on the rank that they acquire. First year students are always encouraged to try their hand in different events. There are numerous other events which take place in the university where one can take part which include but are not limited to poster painting, music, art, dance and poetry slam. Academic writing is also encouraged and students can send their papers and articles to journals or present them at a paper presentation. If one becomes a member of the NUJS Law Review, JILS or any other academic organization, they will be specifically trained and mentored by seniors who are accomplished in the field of academic writing.

The life at.West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences ia very good.The faculty is above par for majority of the papers. As for the fees it isn't significantly higher than that of other top NLUs. Yes, the size of the campus is not much but being at the heart of Kolkata we have access to all sorts of entertainment and of course good food! In-campus infrastructure is significantly improving as I write this, with wifi throughout the campus and air-conditioning (except hostels), the Kolkata humidity won't trouble you much. Administration is also efficient and most of the communications happen through emails.

Above all West Bengal NUJS has a very good atmosphere, with consistent performance over the years and exceptional seniors it is the best in the law circuit. The brand value of WBNUJS is something to be proud of for every student studying there and I have no doubt that WBNUJS will keep on improving!

NLU Kolkata accepts the CLAT entrance exam for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) and BSc LLB (Hons) courses at the UG and LLM course at the PG level. NLU Kolkata CLAT cutoff 2026 for Round 1 was 284 for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and 550 for the BSc. LLB. (Hons.) in Criminology and Forensic in the General AI category.

The West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences is well known for its LLM course. The duration of the course is one year. The first stage of the NLU Kolkata BA LLB admission process starts with the application submission round. The interested students are required to submit the application form for the CLAT examination. The steps to apply are as follows:

No, students interested in taking admission to the NLU Kolkata BA LLB (H) course cannot do so without having a valid CLAT score. Thus, all students interested in taking admission are required to appear for the CLAT exam. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted in pen and paper mode. The application forms for the exam can be filled out by Consortium of NLUs.

The NLU Kolkata BA LLB (H) tuition fee is charged on an annual basis. For a five-year course duration, the total tuition fee amounts to INR 3.66 lakh. Aspirants who have passed LLB/ five-year integrated LLB from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% are eligible to apply for NUJS LLM course. Aspirants applying for LLM must have the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. The selection for LLM is based on CLAT score.

Aspirants need to pass Class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate to apply for NUJS BSc LLB (Hons) programme. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for BSc LLB (Hons). There is no age limit to take up the CLAT exam. The WB National University of Juridical Sciences applications for UG and LLM courses is via CLAT. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) usually starts the registration by July. The application closes by October. Candidates interested need to fill out the CLAT application form. For all other courses, aspirants need to apply on the university website.

The WB National University of Juridical Sciences does not offer direct admission. Candidates need to qualify the accepted entrance exams for admission. The university considers CLAT score for admission to BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. NLU Kolkata conducts an entrance test for admission to LLD, MSc and PhD courses. Selected candidates need to participate in the counselling round for admission.
