B.Com. in Finance - Batch of 2027

Good for self-starters, but some areas need improvement.
Placements: I'm currently pursuing a B.Com in Finance, and so far, the placement opportunities have been pretty good. The college has a supportive placement cell that regularly conducts training sessions on aptitude, soft skills, and interview prep, which really helps us get ready for the job market.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for B.Com Finance is okay. It gets the job done, but nothing too impressive. The classrooms are pretty basic, and while most have projectors, they don't always work properly due to maintenance issues. The library is helpful, especially for commerce and finance books, but it would be great if they added some newer editions and more digital resources.
Faculty: The faculty for B.Com Finance is actually pretty good. Most of the professors know their subjects well and are easy to approach if you have any doubts. A few of them really make an effort to connect what we're learning to real-world finance situations, which makes the classes more interesting and easier to understand.
Other: If you're someone who's self-driven and ready to make the most of the opportunities here, this college can be a pretty solid place to grow. Academic side, there's a good mix of clubs, fests, and extracurricular activities that really help you build confidence and pick up soft skills. That said, there are definitely areas that need work. Placements for core finance roles could be better, and the hostel facilities leave room for improvement.

My college review of Sreekrishnapuram VTB College.
Placements: Sreekrishnapuram V T Bhattathiripad College doesn't provide any internships. It has made it more difficult for students in the future. The college doesn't provide future-oriented internships. The students have a bad impact on matters like internships and placements.
Infrastructure: The college has proper computer labs and well-cleaned classrooms. The college consists of a seminar hall and an auditorium. It has a library that consists of a wide variety of books, like novels, short stories, and fiction etc. The college provides a great experience of reading and studying.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Some of the teachers have Ph.D. degrees, and they are knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was really good. Still, I personally felt some difficulties in the semester exams in college. The pass percentage is 60%.

Review about the Government College Kalpetta.
Placements: There are about 63 students in my class. The college doesn't give you any placement options. If you want a job, you need to search. There are no recruiting companies for my course. The college doesn't provide internships. The college doesn't provide any roles in my course.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't support sports other than fencing. If you are a talented sports person, I will never recommend this college. There is no Wi-Fi connection. The classrooms are good, and there is a computer lab, but only B.Sc. CS students are allowed to get inside. The hostel is only for 50 students.
Faculty: The faculty are qualified; most of them are assistant professors, and some have doctorates. However, the faculty are very rude towards students. The semester exams are conducted by the University of Calicut, so the exams are a little bit tough. If you study, you can pass the exam.
Other: I was a commerce student, that's why I took this course. The college doesn't support arts. If we are talented, we must search for opportunities.

Bad campus but improved campus life.
Placements: There are many placement options. The campus also has student-run finance clubs, which help in building skills and networking. If there's one thing the college could improve, it's bringing in more core finance or investment banking roles. But overall, it's been a very positive and career-focused experience with many placement options.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent. They have comfortable seating and basic facilities like projectors and whiteboards, which are helpful during lectures. The library is quite useful for commerce students, with a good collection of study material, although some of the books feel a bit outdated, and the quantity is limited. There's Wi-Fi on campus, which is definitely a plus, but the speed isn't always reliable. We also have access to computer labs, but they're usually shared with other departments, so it's not always easy to find an available system when you need one.
Faculty: The faculty is quite experienced and knows the subject well, but the teaching style tends to be a bit old-school. A few professors make the classes really interesting and are always ready to help, but others are mostly stuck to the textbook and slides, which can make lectures feel a bit dull. It would be great to have more interactive sessions or real-world case studies to make learning more engaging and practical.
Other: Overall, my college experience has been pretty good. Of course, there are a few areas that could be better, like the infrastructure, hands-on learning, and more updated teaching methods. But still, the college gives a strong base for commerce students. There are student-led clubs, seminars, and plenty of activities outside the classroom that really help with overall growth. If you stay active and make the most of what's available, you can definitely build a solid academic and career path here.

Review of Maulana College.
Placements: College provides good opportunities for students to work with reputed companies. Highly reputed companies visited and recruited our seniors with reasonable packages. All the companies that recruit students from our college are the best. We are lucky to study in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very good, and the campus environment is very good. I suggest you consider the standard of our college as a minimum benchmark to choose a good college and have a good career. In my intermediate, I wanted to take admission in this college by seeing its infrastructure.
Faculty: Course curriculum is superb, and it is more useful in present life situations. Faculty members in our college are friendly. They help us a lot in understanding the concepts. They are fabulous, and they clarify our doubts too. I think the current syllabus is not sufficient for us, we want to learn a lot of concepts and subjects.

The college is very nice with good infrastructure.
Placements: Students need at least 75% marks overall to get placement. Students must have good communication and other skills to get placements easily. Out of 100 students, only 10 students get high packages. In this college, Hotel Management students get more placements compared to other courses.
Infrastructure: College of Applied Science, Aylur (IHRD) has a very good campus. The atmosphere here is very good. There are two computer labs in our college. There is also a library, basketball ground, volleyball ground, and a small football ground. There is one canteen with a beautiful atmosphere.
Faculty: The teaching here is good. Our department conducts internal exams monthly, so we can improve ourselves in our studies. This course has a vast opportunity for jobs. They help us improve our skills and support us in our studies. The teacher takes advantage by threatening us by telling us to reduce our internal mark.
