My college and my journey to entrepreneurship.
Placements: 55% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was offered to my friend Sarthak Pandey, which was 9 LPA. The average package was around 5 to 6 LPA. Internships were mostly provided at Ashok Leyland, Britannia, and Tata Telco. I actually don't know what the top roles offered were, but some students were managing accounts, and some were working in recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college has a very large campus. It includes the library, an international playground named after the college, a dedicated computer room, the hospital, and the canteen. Everything is available inside the campus, from medicine to food. The food quality in the canteen is good. Sometimes the hostel food is bad, but most of the time the food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. The behavior of teachers is very good. Both female and male teachers are good. The Accounts Department teacher is a bit rude. The course curriculum is actually relevant, and most of my classmates are doing some kind of job related to their studies. A few of them are preparing for government jobs as usual. The semester exams aren't really that tough. The quality of education might be the reason. They taught us so well that everything seemed easy.
Other: I always wanted to study business because I want to do business. I never found my interest in jobs. I found business very interesting, so I wanted to study business studies. I don't think there are many things that need to be improved to make the course better. However, there might be a need to make some changes to the classroom schedule. There are only 6 classes happening in a day. I think that can be limited to 3 classes a day, subject-wise. The college hosts events and fests.

B.Voc. in Software Development - Batch of 2025

B.Voc Software Development – Sri Sharda Review.
Placements: It was the first batch of the B.Voc Software Development course at Sri Sharda Group of Institutions. The course started around 2025, so there was no placement data available yet. There were around 25–30 students in my class, which was actually good because teachers could give more attention. Since it was a new course, there was little placement or package information. However, students could participate in hackathons and other activities to gain experience.
Infrastructure: I never stayed in the hostel, as I lived in an apartment and traveled to college. My friends said the hostel was clean and good, with around 7–10 rooms. Wi-Fi was normal, but not too good. The library was normal and good. Medical facilities were limited. There was a sports day, but not many sports facilities. Overall, the college had a 40 percent school-like feeling.
Faculty: If I talk about the faculty and the quality of education, they were really good. They were very supportive and could teach you whenever you needed help. The semester exams were not too difficult, but you just had to prepare well, especially for the first and second semesters, because you had never experienced college before. But if you put in the effort and prepared properly, you would do really well.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't want to take a drop or waste my time. The course was good overall, but I missed having a bigger crowd. There were not many students, and only a few were highly talented. The scholarship was good, but extracurricular activities were limited. Still, different activities happened from time to time. Campus connectivity was good, but the campus crowd and event areas were small. There weren't many clubs like in bigger colleges. Overall, it had more of a college-school type feeling, as I mentioned.

Absolutely dissatisfied with my college.
Placements: I have taken BCA and B.Com. For placements, please put in your own effort and develop other skills like Data Analytics, AI, and so on. Top recruiting companies include Tata Group, Google, Wipro, Microsoft, Realme, Samsung, and OnePlus. Roles offered include Marketing Manager and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure only looks good in pictures. They do not have working ACs that function properly for students, especially in the BCA and B.Com departments. There are no smart boards or well-maintained grounds and sports facilities for students. It feels like they only focus on taking money and forget about the students.
Faculty: Teachers are not very good, but they are experienced. You have to put in your own effort and approach teachers. The examination department is unpredictable, so focus on your studies wisely. Do not depend on others and try to give your best. For your degree, the college will not provide placement with a 6 CGPA.
Other: Please don't come here. There are no proper events, fests, campus activities, or a good campus crowd.

It is a very good college.
Placements: In the B.A. programme, very few students get placed. In my course, the average package is around 5–6 LPA. Sometimes, top companies also visit the campus for recruitment. Around 20–30% of students from my course get internships. University is one of the most popular universities in India, so it offers a variety of roles and opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course and hostel is very good. The buildings are old and have historical significance. The quality of the facilities is good. The food quality is average. Medical facilities are very good. Sports and games facilities are also available. Various sports activities are conducted in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. Pass percentage is 45%. If you are a brilliant student, then it is good for you.
Other: I chose it because I want to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. University is very helpful in making you a very good person.

Review of University of Lucknow.
Placements: The placements are not that good. College may get companies for you just because you were the topper of the batch with 8.9 CGPA. The college may look better in its promotional videos than it actually is. If you want to see its real glory, you can visit the campus. It is kind of okay. I would recommend this college only for a degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is bad. The seats are broken and are 6 inches wide. It's not comfortable to sit, you can't even put your copy straight on the table. The buildings are old, it's a good place to watch the old buildings.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and very friendly. You can tell that they know what they are teaching, but the only problem is that I heard that they sometimes don't come and send their students. There is no shortage of students there are 2 to 3 teachers for every subject.

Review of Lucknow University for B.Tech CSE.
Placements: 60 percent of students got placed in tech-related companies other will be placed in sales or edtech-related companies or get admission to M.Tech via GATE. The highest package is about 14LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Soti is the top recruiting company this year.
Infrastructure: The only thing I like is my library other than this I don't like anything about my college. We have been in the same classroom for 2 years, and there is no smart board facility provided for us, and no AC in our class. You have lots of extra time because classes are not mandatory to attend, as no action is taken for being absent but it affects you if you are a scholarship student.
Faculty: Exams are not very difficult but also not very easy. The students who have gone through all the topics of the syllabus once can manage to score above 8 SGPA, but the curriculum is not relevant, it is not going to make you industry-ready. You have to make yourself industry-ready by learning skills on your own.
Other: No events, fests, and campus life. You will feel like you are in school. I would improve events related to tech. I will make sure workshops are held a lot rather than just lectures in the events. Also, I would like to improve the water facility of the new building of Lucknow University. The best thing about my course is that I can take a lot of leaves without any problem for my skills.
