Very satisfied with everything provided, keeping in mind the cost.
Placements: For research, placements are fewer because students pursue higher studies like PhDs, etc. Many students even get into good institutions like TIFR for their internships from the first year itself. These kinds of internships are fully funded too.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very good, with projectors and air conditioning in some. Every building and hostel has its own Wi-Fi, to which students can connect by entering the individual credentials provided by the college. Coming to the mess, for the price, the quality and taste of the food are good.
Faculty: The main advantage here is professors because they are all very well qualified. They have done their PhDs from IITs, IISc, etc. Many of them have a lot of knowledge because they have done their postdocs abroad at many good universities. The curriculum is the best for research, and they teach interdisciplinary subjects so that students will have knowledge about all disciplines in the future.
Other: This course is cheap. The main thing is that what they are providing for the cost is excellent. Coming to the best part, this college offers many diverse courses, because of which some departments organize something every day.

If a student is really interested in sciences, it is one of the finest colleges.
Placements: Those who didn't want to continue for Ph.Ds got jobs in Research roles and Grade B scientist roles as assistant professors. I guess the highest package for IMSc Physics was 11 LPA. Top roles were mostly of theoretical physicists, experimental researchers, graduation B scientists, etc. There are no top recruiting companies. Most of them are working in government research organisations. 90% of students got internships in different research institutions like IITs, TIFR, DRDO, ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: While studying, the infrastructure is good and has all facilities, but the hostel infrastructure has low maintenance. The mess food can be rated as 2/10. The teaching infrastructure has well-maintained resources and equipment. Just CIS is a little off, but the department buildings and all other facilities are well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are overall good, and the teaching quality is 4/5. The course is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. The difficulty level of exams is 7/10, and the passing score is 40 /100. If you study for a day or 3 days before the exams, you're passing chances are still okay, but it will not be enough to maintain an average or above-average CGPA.

Dissatisfied due to the lack of faculty.
Placements: In my department, there are no such departmental placements, but there is a central placement. There is a decent package of about 8-10 LPA. Very few got the package, the remaining people are trying for their Ph.D. in statistics. There is no proper departmental placement cell.
Infrastructure: The hostels are okay, but the mess food is as bad as possible. The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and proper, big blackboards. The library is good, and it is accessible 24/7. There are two reading rooms on the campus, one in the North and the other in the South.
Faculty: The mathematics department has faculty, but the statistics department has only one faculty. The teachers treat statistics as mathematics, with 0 respect for statistics. They do everything in mathematical ways, always trying to say that statistics is just a part of mathematics, and if somebody doesn't know mathematics, then it's impossible to do higher-order statistics.
Other: The campus is filled with life, with fests going on every week or month.

Faculty and college are really good, but I am dissatisfied with the hostel and the mess food.
Placements: This branch was started just 3 years ago. So no one can tell about placement. But here, professors and teaching are exceptionally good. Also, we get many internship opportunities. Anyone who scores a good CGPA gets an internship. Some students also get internship opportunities abroad, too; it is like a semester exchange programme in Austria this year. Last year, some students got the opportunity to work in Sweden too. You will get a lot of opportunities here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college, classroom, library, and everything is really good. -Fi is available everywhere, but the infrastructure of hostels is quite bad. Mess food is also not so good, but the classrooms and library are good. There are ACs and Wi-Fi available in most of the classrooms. The library has many reading rooms where you can study.
Faculty: Teachers are exceptionally good, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The course is totally relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are not too tough. The pass percentage is 40%. It's not difficult to pass the exams, but to get a good SGPA, you need to study.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in material engineering. I would suggest improving the hostel and the mess food. Also fest held is not so good.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus life, and also the placements provided here.
Placements: Pharmaceuticals and Biochemistry labs placements are the top roles offered in my course. Also, there are many others which are recognised and are offering placements for the students with a very good package. Amazon and Indian Immunologicals are the top companies recruiting.
Infrastructure: There is a full Wi-Fi connection throughout the hostels and classrooms. The infrastructure of the classroom and hostels is okay. Food in the mess is also okay, but the food in the canteen is very good. We have a good health care centre on campus.
Faculty: The faculty is good enough for explaining, but when it comes to exams, we should be prepared on our own. The paper is difficult to get a good percentage on, but it is okay to pass. The pass percentage is about 95%. In this course, we have additional subjects other than our courses.
Other: The fests are very eye-catching as many talents are showcased. Faculty should make sure that students are good enough to attend exams.

Review of UoH - University of Hyderabad.
Placements: Nearly 70 to 80% of the students get placed. The highest package last year is about 46 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The average is around 6 to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Intel, Marvel, TCS, GE Vernova, and Teradata. 40 to 50% get internships from TCS, GE Vernova, Teradata, Intel, etc.
Infrastructure: The course is good and as per industry requirements, with full Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms available. The whole college is Wi-Fi facilitated. The hostel quality is good for the amount we pay. The hostel has water facilities, with hot and cold water available, and there are facilities to wash clothes, along with washing machines near the hostels. The mess is good, and food is served well. Canteens are available everywhere, so there’s no problem finding something to eat. Free medical services are provided for students at the health center, and insurance is also included. Sports are the best aspect.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but not everybody is as good. You will be getting a mix of good and average teachers. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult, and the grading scale is challenging. The pass percentage is good, but the CGPA will be lower, around 6 to 7 for everybody as per the new grading scale.
Other: Choose this course as it is booming, and it's good. Things I would like to improve are making students do more projects. Events and fests are conducted regularly, so it's good.

Getting into the University of Hyderabad can be hard & competitive. The seats are limited in number & the admissions to most of the popular courses are based on the score of entrance exams like CUET, JEE Mains, CAT, etc. making it difficult for the students to get admissions.
