Utkal University MBA admission is entrance-based. Students have to apply online at the admission portal. The final seat allotment is further based on academic records, marks in the entrance exam, category of the candidate,  Utkal University cutoff, and seat availability.

Utkal University accepts Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) scores for admission to MBA (Financial Management) and MBA (Rural Management) courses. However, for the MBA (Agribusiness) course, candidates with a valid score of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ICAR-AIEEA PG/ TISSNET can apply. Those who do not possess scores of the pre-mentioned entrance exams for the MBA in Agribusiness course can also apply via UMAT, which is also conducted by Utkal University.

Yes, a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course is offered by the university. It is offered as a full-time self-financed degree course under the University Department of Teacher Education.
