The university may not offer direct admission as primarily the selection is merit-based. Thus, the aspirants Class 12 scores are considered. DIT University BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters at the UG level. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations. The university admits candidates to the BTech courses based on JEE scores/merit in Class 12.Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology,  Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses.

DIT is constantly working towards developing a great aura for students that is extremely calm to get rid of a hectic study schedule. The university organises various activities such as Nukkad Nataks, various exhibitions, quiz competitions, plays and several fashion shows. Step 1: Online Application

The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. The university conducts other selection rounds like GDPI or PI rounds for some of the specific courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. Additionally, candidates who do not have any of the scores mentioned above need to sit and appear for merit-based counselling on DUET followed by PI.

Step 3: Counselling & Admission Confirmation

After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for merit-based counselling and document verification. Selected candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their admission.
