Q:   Is it compulsory to give VTUEEE to get admission to BTech at Vel Tech?

No, it is not mandatory to qualify for VTUEEE, only if aspirants get more than 60% aggregate in their previous qualifying exam as per the minimum eligibility criteria. In this case, they can get direct admission to a four-year course of BTech at Vel Tech. This is the best college to join for Engineering.
Placements: Nearly 150–200 members got placed. The highest package is 24 LPA and the lowest is 4.6 LPA. ZOHO, startup companies, Amazon, and TCS are among the recruiters. Above 8 CGPA students got internships in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Web Development, and Full Stack Development domains. Roles included web development intern and full stack developer.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of the college are big so that 70–80 students can sit, and have fans and windows for air facilities. There are many labs with the latest version of computers and updated Windows, so that students can easily access them. The college has a big and well-maintained library with more than 15,000 books, so that students can easily access and use them. Students can sit and access the library, and a section in the library has a facility for using computers with internet connection for students.
Faculty: There are many well-educated teachers with a Ph.D. degree. They provide good education so that students can easily understand, learn, and gain knowledge. The courses are all related to the curriculum according to the degree which we are learning, and it's very useful. The semester papers are somewhat easy to get pass marks for the students, and the pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science because I wanted to learn about artificial intelligence technology, which is currently trending and going to lead the future. The best things I learned about this course are how real-world problems are getting solved by using AI, and how to handle and tackle the data using Data Science. The uses of AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc. How AI is going to lead the world, and many more interesting things I have learned till now. They conduct many events for festivals, and the big event Lavaza.

Infrastructure is okay but it needs to improve the facilities.
Placements: The packages start from 2.0 LPA. Recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Students should have basic knowledge of the domain and some good coding skills for good placements and internships. Overall, it is fine.
Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are well-maintained with 5G Wi-Fi connections. The hostel offers 5-in-1, 4-in-1, 3-in-1, 2-in-1, and single rooms with AC and non-AC options. The food is not that great but is a good choice for South Indians. Not a great option for North/Northeast people.
Faculty: They follow a choice-based credit system that allows students to choose their courses, faculty, and slots, which is very helpful. The faculty members were supportive and helpful in guiding the students but assigned a lot of work.
Other: Daily workshops and monthly contests are held for student enrichment. The main fest is Lavaza, a 3-day annual technical fest.
