The least competitive course among all was B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with the Cutoff rank of 9255. Therefore, the minimum rank to seek admission in VIT-AP is 9255. 

VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is mandatory for admission to the B.Tech. Programme in Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP). Higher Secondary Board, JEE Main, or SAT scores will not be considered for admission to the B.Tech. Degree Programme. However, for some other courses, there is no entrance examination, and candidates are selected based on their academic performance.
