Academic excellence and facilities, mediocre placements, and hardcore campus life.
Placements: At CSE in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, the placements are mediocre. Approximately 60-65 percent of the students are placed, primarily by mass recruiters. The highest package is approximately 18 LPA-20 LPA ( very few students ), the average package is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA-3.6 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, and HCL are major recruiting firms. Approximately 35-40 percent of students receive internships, mostly off-campus. Functional types of jobs provided include Software Engineer, System Engineer, Data Analytics, and QA, with few competitive but product company roles.
Infrastructure: The campus facilities are excellent and include adequately equipped CSE laboratories, strong internet access on Wi-Fi, neat classes, and a central library with a lot of stock. Facilities of the hostel are very strict yet good, with clean rooms and heavy security. Mess food is mediocre and monotonous, and there are medical and bare-bones sports amenities on campus.
Faculty: The quality of the faculty is mixed, as there are both wise and research-driven professors, and those who use slides primarily. The curriculum is robust in learning basics, but not entirely industry-fit, and thus, students have to acquire skills on their own. Semester exams are medium-level and conceptual in nature, and the pass rate of such exams is about 85-90 percent.

It is a good college with good teachers, good placements, and a good library.
Placements: Our college has decent placements. The highest package offered is 60 LPA, and the average package is 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Microsoft, and Intel. The percentage of students who got internships is 70% in companies like Wipro, nd Microsoft, etc. Top roles are offered in the computer science and engineering course.
Infrastructure: Our college has good Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. The hostel food is a bit bad because it's vegetarian. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good. Food available in the canteen is Idli, Dosa, Pasta, Sambaar, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is updated. Semester exams are okay. The pass percentage is very high. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, so they give us an idea of where we stand compared to other students.

Disciplined campus life and real technical exposure.
Placements: 85 to 90 percent of the students in my course are placed, especially in CSE and associated fields. The highest package exceeded 40 to 50 LPA for a few top performers, with the average being roughly around 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Cisco, and AMD came to our campus.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure in Amrita is excellent and well maintained. The classrooms are clean, Wi-Fi is available across most areas, and the labs are well equipped for all major branches. The library is large, quiet, and has good digital resources. Overall its good.
Faculty: The curriculum is updated regularly and is designed to give them good exposure to both theoretical knowledge and industry related skills. The teaching quality is structured and disciplined, which helps students stay consistent in their studies. The semester exams are moderately difficult and require regular preparation.

A supportive environment with quality learning and opportunities for career growth.
Placements: Placements are decent. In our batch, students with good CGPA and consistent efforts definitely saw results. The highest package went up to 22 LPA (though it was off-campus), and the lowest is around 3 LPA. The average package ranged between 4.5 and 6 LPA, depending on the effort you put in.
Infrastructure: College has vast central libraries, football and basketball grounds, fitness centers, and gym facilities. The hostel provides good nutritious food and is completely vegetarian, while the canteen also offers non-vegetarian options. Classrooms, labs, and other facilities are good. The Wi-Fi speed is average but sufficient for college purposes.
Faculty: Faculty in our department were generally helpful and well-qualified, with most holding PhDs or having industry experience. Some were very student-friendly, while a few were a bit rigid. We also had value-added courses and mandatory internships that prepared us well for the industry. Exams were moderately difficult, with questions often requiring conceptual understanding. The pass percentage was around 85–90%.
Other: There are many cultural events for Kerala and other state students. The environment is good for making friends and creating a memorable college life. There are some restrictions, but you can still make the best out of it.

We have a decent campus. CSE is good, but it needs improvement.
Placements: Around 45% got placed with a salary package of 3.5 LPA to 25 LPA. The CSE branch is strong here, but only 20% get internships by 4th year. ML and DSA are the most preferred and rewarding domains. They boost placement chances and open better career opportunities.
Infrastructure: The campus has good labs and classrooms, but lacks AC in both hostels and classrooms. Facilities are average and manageable, but not top-notch. However, the major drawback is the food quality, which is generally not considered good the most students.
Faculty: Teachers are generally qualified and helpful, with decent teaching quality. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and provides basic industry readiness. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The average pass percentage is around 75-80%. It depends on the branch and effort.
Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in coding and teaching. The best parts are learning DSA, ML, and real-world projects. The curriculum could be more updated. Fests are decent, and the crowd is friendly. The campus is average, connectivity is fine, and few scholarships are available. Some extracurriculars are active.

Review of Amritapuri Campus, Kerala.
Placements: Around 90-95% of students from my course are successfully placed during the campus placement drives. The percentage may vary slightly depending on the year and course, for example, B.Tech students tend to have a higher placement rate, especially in fields like Computer Science and Electronics.
Infrastructure: The entire campus, including department buildings, is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Students have access to a reliable internet connection, which is crucial for academic research, online courses, and group work. Wi-Fi is accessible in classrooms, libraries, hostels, and common areas.
Faculty: The faculty at Amrita University is generally highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Most professors hold advanced degrees such as Ph.D.s. Many also have significant industry experience, especially in fields like engineering and management.
Other: I chose this course at Amrita University primarily because of my strong interest in technology and engineering, particularly in the field of Computer Science. The university is known for its well-rounded curriculum, industry collaborations, and focus on research and innovation, which is aligned perfectly with my academic and career goals. Additionally, the opportunity to study in an institution with a reputation for high placements and industry exposure made it an attractive choice.

Hi, first of all one thing you have to remember the cutoff will be based on the students appeared for the entrance examination. If you get below 2200 then there are changes to get admission for CSE

The admission in asked College is done through the JEE Main and Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering 2020. Your JEE Main percentile is very good enough for this college and you will definitely get here the admission in B.Tech CSE.
