In 1984, DY Patil College of Engineering was formed. It is private college affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, and is located in Akurdi, Pune. Also known as DYPCOE, it is recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. It has received the status of ‘Autonomous Institute' and is accredited with an A++ Grade by NACC.
