How to Get CA Certification?

To become a Chartered Accountant, candidates must first meet the eligibility requirements, and then apply for and complete the requisite course. The following are the steps to becoming a chartered accountant: Students must complete an application and register for a CPT exam, which serves as a foundation course. Candidates may take this exam while still enrolled in school. Students must engage in the IPCC programme, also known as the Intermediate Programme, after finishing the basic course. To be qualified, students must pass the 12th-grade exam.

  • CA Foundation is the first exam on the path to becoming a CA. Registration is possible after graduating class 10, however the exam is only available after level 12. The CA Foundation has the advantage of allowing you to take the CA exam twice in the same year.
  • After passing the CA Foundation exam, one is eligible to write an Intermediate course. It is regarded as the second level of CA. Students are introduced to CA's advanced curriculum at this stage. During the Intermediate Course, students will be able to recognise their own CA flaws and strengths.
  • Articleship is a three-year mandatory practical training or on-the-job training period in which students learn to work on real-world issues under the supervision of professional chartered accountants or Chartered Accountant businesses. The articles can be completed at any CA firm based on their interests and talents.

  • The CA final is the final level of examination required to become a CA in India. The course tests will take place in June and December, with registration with the ICAI required in May and November, respectively.
