KGMU Cutoff 2024: Check Category Wise NEET PG Cutoff Ranks

KGMU category-wise cutoff 2024 for NEET PG was released for admission to several PG courses. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students under the AII India quota. In the last round, the NEET PG cutoff 2024 for MD courses was between 249 and 6034 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Of all the MD courses, the most competitive MD specialisation was Radiodiagnosis, followed by General Medicine. For more information, read this article.

KGMU Cutoff 2024 For General All India Category

For the students belonging to the General AI category, the NEET PG first round closing ranks were between 146 and 6034 for admission to the MD and MS courses. In the last round, the closing ranks varied between 249 and 6034. Considering both rounds, MD in Radiodiagnosis has the most stringent cutoff, making it the toughest for admission in 2024. The second in line, with a relatively less competitive last round cutoff rank of 1166, was MD in General Medicine. Under the MS course, the most and least sought-after specialisations were MS in General Surgery and MS in Traumatology and Surgery, with closing ranks of 3881 and 10446, respectively.

KGMU Cutoff 2024 For OBC All India Category

Compared with the General AI category students, NEET PG last round cutoffs were relatively less competitive for the OBC AI category students for admission to MD and MS courses in 2024. Considering the last round cutoff, the most competitive course was MD in Radiodiagnosis with a concluding cutoff rank of 382. The first round closing rank for the same stood at 318 for the students belonging to the OBC category. For the general AI category students, the NEET PG last round cutoff rank/score was 249, which was more competitive for admission than the OBC category students. KGMU Cutoff 2024 For SC All India Category

KGMU SC category cutoff 2024 was released for MD and MS courses across multiple specialisations, wherein the most and least competitive courses were MD in Radio Diagnosis and MD in Pharmacology, respectively. The last round cutoff rank for Radio Diagnosis was 2252, while for Pharmacology, the cutoff concluded at 135891. Compared with all the above categories, it was observed that the NEET PG cutoff ranks were relatively less competitive for admission in 2024 as compared to the SC category candidates belonging to the All India quota.

Considering the NEET PG last round closing ranks, the top three most competitive courses for admission in 2024 were MD in General Medicine, MD in Paediatrics, and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The last round closing ranks for these three specialisations stood at 15340, 18777, and 25890, respectively.
