KGMU Cutoff 2023 For OBC All India Category
The closing cutoff for the OBC category candidates ranged between 676 and 149021 in the AI quota. For MD in Radio Diagnosis, the closing rank was 676, this is the most desirable course among the MD students for admission in 2023 as compared to other MD specialisations. The second most in-demand course to get into KGMU was MD in General Medicine with first and last-round closing ranks of 993 and 1952, respectively. The least important courses were MD in Physiology and MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology to secure a seat at KGMU. For other programmes, refer to the table below:
The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 20731 and the closing rank was 25581. Among the ST category students, the first-round closing ranks ranged between 23480 and 114549. The cutoff was released for MS in General Surgery, MD in General Medicine, and MD in Pediatrics, among others, for which the first-round NEET PG closing ranks were 23480, 24649, and 26484, respectively. For the SC category students, the competition was less as compared to other categories, including General, OBC, and SC students for admission to the MD and MS courses.
