KGMU cutoff 2023 was released for a list of MD and MS courses via NEET PG. For 2023 admission, the cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. During the KGMU NEET PG cutoff 2023, the last-round closing ranks varied between 198 and 110816, of which, MD in Radio Diagnosis was the most desirable course among the General AI quota. King George`s Medical University cutoff for NEET PG is available in the table below for MD and MS courses across specialisations. As per the KGMU MD cutoff 2023, the last-round closing ranks ranged between 198 and 110816 for the General AI category students. Among all the MD specialisations, the most sought-after was MD in Radio Diagnosis. The least competitive MD specialisations were MD in Anatomy, MD in Physiology and MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology with a closing cutoff of 110816, 84802 and 72570, respectively. Among the MS courses, Orthopaedics was the most in-demand specialisation with a last-round NEET PG cutoff of 4387. The closing cutoff for the OBC category candidates ranged between 676 and 149021 in the AI quota. For MD in Radio Diagnosis, the closing rank was 676, this is the most desirable course among the MD students for admission in 2023 as compared to other MD specialisations. The second most in-demand course to get into KGMU was MD in General Medicine with first and last-round closing ranks of 993 and 1952, respectively. The least important courses were MD in Physiology and MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology to secure a seat at KGMU. For other programmes, refer to the table below:

Candidates seeking for admission to MBBS at KGMU Lucknow must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate as the minimum eligibility criteria for General category candidtaes. There is a five percent relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories.

Among the ST category students, the first-round closing ranks ranged between 23480 and 114549. The cutoff was released for MS in General Surgery, MD in General Medicine, and MD in Pediatrics, among others, for which the first-round NEET PG closing ranks were 23480, 24649, and 26484, respectively. For the SC category students, the competition was less as compared to other categories, including General, OBC, and SC students for admission to the MD and MS courses.
