Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) is a state university in Guwahati, Assam. The University has released KKHSOU results 2020 online at the official website. The University offers various UG, PG, doctorate and diploma programmes in the field of Science, Management, Arts, Computer Application and many more.

The University follows a semester pattern for all UG and PG programmes. Exams for odd semesters are conducted in November/ December whereas, the exams for even semesters are conducted in May/ June.

The results for odd semester exams were declared on the official website of the University. Candidates need to click on the desired subject to view results.

KKHSOU Results 2020

The results for UG programmes such as BA, BBA, BCA, BCom, BMC and diploma programmes were announced in February. Candidates can check the results at the official website of the University. Follow the below-mentioned steps to check KKHSOU results:

1. Visit the official website of the University, www.kkhsou.in

2. From the left bar menu, tap on “Examination” and select “Notice/ Routines”

3. In the search tab, select “Regular Results” from the dropdown menu and click on search

4. Now, tap on the course and semester to view results

5. The college-wise results will appear on the screen

KKHSOU E-Marksheet 2020

Apart from the college-wise results, candidates can download their marksheet through the official website of the University. Given below are the steps required for downloading the E-marksheet.

1. Visit the official website of the University, www.kkhsou.in

2. From the left bar menu, tap on “Examination” and select “E-Marksheet”

3. Log in using your session, enrollment number and name as per written in admit card

4. The marksheet will appear on the screen

5. Download your marksheet and take a printout for further use

KKHSOU Evaluation Process 2020

The evaluation process is based on external exam marks and assignments. Assignments are an important part of the total evaluation process. The marks of the assignment are 20% of the complete marks of the subjects.

For example, for a subject having total marks of 100, the theory paper will have 80 marks and the assignment will have 20 marks. The assignment marks are divided in the two ways mentioned below:

(I) Divided into two parts:

  • 17 marks for quality of the assignment
  • 3 marks for the timely submission

(II) Divided into three parts:

  • 12 marks for quality of the assignment
  • 3 marks for the timely submission
  • 5 marks for attendance. The marks of the attendance are given through the below criteria:

KKHSOU Revaluation Process 2020

If the students are not satisfied with the declared results, they can apply for Re-scrutiny/ Photocopy/ Re-evaluation of the answer scripts. Students need to fill an application form through the official website of the University for revaluation process. One student can apply for a maximum of three papers. Students need to apply for revaluation process within 14 days of the declared result.

The review of answer scripts is done in the following steps:

  1. Re-scrutiny: Within one month after the declaration of semester results
  2. Photocopy: Within next one month after the re-scrutiny
  3. Re-evaluation: Within next one month after the completion of photocopy

The revaluation is divided into three components. KKHSOU revaluation fees is mentioned in the table below:

KKHSOU Improvement Examination 2020

The candidates who were not able to clear the exam in the first attempt are required to give improvement examination. Some of the rules for the improvement examination are given below:

  • Maximum four attempts are allowed in each subject to clear a back
  • For bachelor’s degree, if a candidate has secured 30% marks in individual courses but could not secure 35% on aggregate, such candidate is allowed to appear in improvement examination in the maximum number of three papers
  • For master’s degree, if a candidate has secured 35% marks in individual subjects but could not secure 45% on aggregate, such candidate is required to appear for improvement examination in a maximum of four papers
  • Bachelor’s degree course must be completed within eight years
  • A candidate is not allowed to appear for more than four papers in a semester
  • If the assignments are not submitted within 30 days from the declared results, the respective subject will be held as not clear (NC)
