As per the recent cutoff records, the NEET PG ranks closed off for Round 2 at 2733 for MD in General Medicine in 2025. On the other hand, courses such as DM in Neurology marked the rank of 2024 at 3180 and 304 as the closing rank for MCh in Surgical Oncology. Similarly, UNIRAJ cutoffs for BSc (Hons) in Botany and BA in Political Science for the 2025 final round has also been released.
Students should also make note that while checking UNIRAJ cutoffs the different affiliated and constituting colleges of the university will invariably have separate cutoffs which may be lower or higher than others, as such students should be extra careful while checking results and while choosing a college.

Gandhinagar Jaipur Railway Station is away from three km away from the UniRaj campus with the other means of reaching being road or air. By Road students have the Jaipur Bus Stand. One can also easily reach the university from Narayan Singh Circle (3 km from the University) or the Main Sindhi Camp bus stand (6 km from the University).

In 1957, it possessed the name of University of Rajasthan, however, UNIRAJ was established in 1947, originally.
- The University of Rajputana came into existence on January 8, 1947.
- RU Jaipur had Dr. G.S. Mahajani (Principal of Ferguson College, Poona), as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University.
- The first foundation stone of Rajasthan University of Rajasthan campus was laid by Shri C. Rajagopalachari on February 20, 1949.
- Initially, UNIRAJ was affiliating 22 colleges in different part of the states which has grown to 281 now.
