Our planet has undergone a tremendous transformation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A new generation of psychological trauma is emerging as we continue to struggle with the aftereffects of the pandemic. People who belong to Generation Z, or those born between 1997 and 2012, have seen a world characterised by social upheaval, political turbulence, and economic uncertainty. They, therefore, have high rates of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. As we work to comprehend and meet the psychological requirements of this generation, studying psychology is more crucial than ever. In this article, we will discuss why a degree in psychology is a wise choice and the rewarding career options in this field.

First and foremost, learning about psychology helps us comprehend both ourselves and others better. We are complicated beings with often difficult-to-understand thoughts, feelings, and behaviour as humans. Psychology helps us learn these intricacies by giving us a framework for comprehending how people behave. So, the study of psychology can enhance the comprehension of our own thoughts and emotions, as well as the thoughts and feelings of those around us.

Second, the study of psychology is dynamic. New ideas and methods are continually being developed as our understanding of the human mind and conduct advances. Because of this, psychology is a fascinating and dynamic discipline with lots of room for development and discovery. There is always something new to learn and discover in the field of psychology, whether you are interested in research, counselling or another area.
