GLA University located in Mathura is one of the best private universities in North India & particularly in Uttar Pradesh, known for its quality education & decent placements. BTech

The university offers BTech in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics and several other branches. The eligibility criterion is that one must have scored 50% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The university conducts its own test known as GLAET of two-hour duration. The seat intake varies from 1,000 to 1,500 including all branches of Engineering. The best companies/ organisations which recruit from Engineering branches include JMC Projects (India) Ltd., Everest, Ultratech Cement, Mitsubishi, Honda, Accenture, Capgemini, Hitachi, LG, HP, Siemens, Suzuki, Infosys, Medlife, etc. The academic fee for the MBA program is as follows - 

• First Year: INR 1,66,000
• Second Year: INR 1,69,000
• Third Year: INR 1,72,000
• Fourth Year: INR 1,75,000

MBA (Construction Management)

An aspirant must have scored 50% marks in Bachelor (Civil Engineering). The admission is based on the marks scored in the GLAET test, which consists of MCQ questions & the test duration is of 90 minutes. Preference is given to the students securing decent percentile in exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, UPSEE, etc. The academic fee for the 2022-23 session is INR 1,66,000, for the first-year students of MBA in Construction Management. The curriculum also includes some sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Building Information Modelling (BIM), Big data, Blockchain, etc for more clarity and to meet the industry requirements. The academic fee for the MBA program is as follows:

• First Year: INR 1,66,000
• Second Year: INR 1,69,000

BBA

The eligibility criteria for this exam is that a student must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in any stream. The university conducts its own test known as GLAET of one-hour duration, and on the basis of performance, students are selected. The fee for this program is as follows-

• First Year: INR 1,23,000
• Second Year: INR 1,25,000
• Third Year: INR 1,27,000

MBA

The university offers an MBA program in dual specialisation. The admission is through GLAET or CAT, MAT, XAT, UPSEE, etc. The preference is given to the candidates, who score a good percentile in national-level tests. For the academic session 2022-23, the university is charging an academic fee of INR 1,73,000 for the first year. The seat intake varies from 300 to 400 students every year. The companies which recruit on a regular basis from the university include HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, ITC, etc. The academic fee for the MBA program is as follows:

• First Year: INR 1,73,000
• Second Year: INR 1,76,000

BPharma

BPharma is one of the top-ranked courses of the university as per NIRF rankings. The admission process consists of three rounds, i.e. online MCQ test followed by GD & PI. The aspirant must have an aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. For the academic session 2022-23, the university is charging an academic fee of INR 1,41,000 for the first year and the course duration is four years. This program is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with an intake capacity limited to 100. The companies which recruit on a regular basis from the university include Lotus Herbals, Apollo Hospitals, Lilly, Pfizer, etc. The academic fee for the MBA program is as follows:

• First Year: INR 1,41,000
• Second Year: INR 1,44,000
• Third Year: INR 1,47,000
• Fourth Year: INR 1,50,000

Apart from the academic fee mentioned above, Caution Money also needs to be deposited, which is INR 5000 for a Diploma in Engineering/ DPharma/ BEd/ BSc (Hons) Chemistry/ BSc (Hons) Physics/ BSc (Hons) Agriculture/ MSc (Chemistry) /MSc (Physics)/ MSc (Mathematics)/ BA (English) and INR 10,000 for all other courses, which is refundable after successful completion of the course.

• Examination Charges: INR 6,000 (Per Academic Year)

The university also provides various scholarships to meritorious students, the scholarship amount may vary from program to program & as per university norms. The overall placement is more than 75%. For the 2022 batch, close to 3,000 offers have been made in different disciplines and the recruiting process is still ongoing.
