The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BSc (honours) programmes offered at Presidency University, Kolkata.

IIT Kharagpur seat intake for its various BSc courses is 638. Out of these 638 seats, 15% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST). The selection for the BSc course is based on CUET UG scores. Additionally, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to the BSc course. A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for a BSc course. Those passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to the BSc course. Otherwise, candidates are required to get valid scores in CUET. 

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam is ongoing.

The total tuition fees for the BSc course at Brainware University range from INR 1.9 lakh to INR 6.9 lakh, and the ROI provided by the university is INR 2.2- 3 lakh. On the other hand, the tuition fees for the BSc course at Sister Nivedita University range between INR 2.2 - 8.1 lakh. And the return on investment provided by the SNU is INR 6 lakh. Hence, the return on investment/ average package from Sister Nivedita University is better than that of Brainware University. However, the ROI can fluctuate according to the fee structure and placement packages provided by the university. Candidates are suggested to choose the BSc course according to their career goals, and inclination. 

The Neotia University BSc in Nautical Science is a three-year course, further divided into six semesters. The course structure is based on the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). Each subject included in the course curiculum carries certain credit points. Some subjects inlcuded in the course curriculum are Marine Engineering Control Systems, Nautical Physics, Nautical Electronics, Ship Operating Techniques, etc.
