Engineering Colleges accepting TS EAMCET for B.Tech in India

As per IMUCET eligibility criteria, the age limit for students applying for B.Tech, B.Sc, B.B.A and DNS courses is below - 

• Minimum age: 17 years

• Maximum age: 

• For Male: General - 25 years, OBC (NCL)-28 years, SC/ST-30 years

• For Female: General - 27 years, OBC (NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years.

No age limit for students from M.tech, M.B.A. and M.Sc program

For PG graduate Diploma course in Marine Engineering -

Maximum age : Male : For General-28 years OBC (NCL)-31 years SC/ST-33 years.

Female : For General-30 years OBC (NCL)-33 years SC/ST-35 years

The TS EAMCET 2026 admit cards has been released for both engineering and agriculture/pharmacy streams. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the TS EAMCET portal.

Yes, student with a cutoff rank of 3000 in JEE Main can get admission to IIIT Hyderabad, if belonging to the General All India category. The course available at thi rank for the General All India category is BTech in ECE. The last-round closing rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4350 for the General All India category. 

Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4398. Therefore, admission at rank 3000 is possible for OBC AI category as well. 

TS EAMCET is usually considered moderate to tough. If compared to JEE Mains, the difficulty level is not much; however, candidates must prepare for the exam with complete dedication.

MLR Institute of Technology and CVR College of Engineering both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, MLR Institute of Technology is a better option since the total tuition fee for MLR Institute of Technology is INR 210,000 - INR 460,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at CVR College of Engineering is INR 460,000 - INR 600,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at Anurag University and Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology are 1560 and 1200, respectively. While Anurag University offers this course in 15 specialisations, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the same in 10 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at Anurag University due to higher seats.

The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.E. / B.Tech from NMIMS, Hyderabad is INR 1,022,000. While, the Median package offered by Vardhaman College of Engineering after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 625,000. Basis these stats, NMIMS, Hyderabad is better option compared to Vardhaman College of Engineering on the Median salary parameter.

G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science courses are approved by eminent Government bodies such as AICTE. The combined seats available for various programmes provided by G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science goes up to 1290.
