Our college has the best infrastructure, good Wi-Fi connectivity, and the best faculty.

Placements: This year, placements are very good. More than 75% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA and the lowest is 3.25 LPA. There is placement training for students before placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure compared to many other colleges around. We can enjoy free campus Wi-Fi and we even have Wi-Fi in the hostels. This makes learning easy, not only for me but for many other students. The maintenance is good, and we even have gardens in our college.

Faculty: Teachers at our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are highly qualified. They help us in all ways to make us understand. This is the best thing about our college. Our course curriculum is quite good. Exams conducted are the best. It's not that difficult to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I feel happy and enjoy studying in this field.

It has a good infrastructure and beautiful labs. Classrooms are well-maintained.

Placements: Students who score above 6.75 CGPA and more than that get placed in good companies. The lowest salary package offered is above 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA, and more than that depends upon the company. A top recruiting company that visit our campus for our course placements is ACC Cement.

Infrastructure: KLE Dr. M.S.Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology has good facilities and good looking infrastructure. It is the only college, which has 7 branches in North Karnataka. It provides good facilities in the hostel. Our college provides sports facilities. The campus is beautiful. It provides a Wi-Fi facility for better study for the students. The hostel facility is good and healthy.

Faculty: The college has excellent teaching faculty members. They provide theoretical knowledge more than theory. Our college is under VTU, and the VTU is a top university. All exams are conducted strictly, and they provide 100 marks paper, but that is converted into 60 and remaining marks given by students for activities like internal assessment, journal, and curriculum activities.

Other: The college is good at placements. Every college conducts an Invento programme, which includes both techno-cultural fest and sports.

Our college is very good to learn.

Placements: For our course, companies don't visit for placements. The maximum of 5 companies visit to offer placements for our course. We have to opt for government exams to get government jobs. We have to work hard.

Infrastructure: Good facilities are available in our hostel, and in one hostel room, 3 students are allotted. Hostel rooms have a good environment to read. There is also a mess, and it serves very good food, but now it is not opened due to the lockdown of COVID-19 pandemic. Our college said that the mess would be open in January.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good to teach. They will put maximum efforts to make students understand the concepts. They will take care of all students in the classroom. They will make fun also to make the subject interesting to students so that we won't feel boring in the classroom.

KLE is now entertaining and knowledgeable one.

Placements: The placement is good for software-based jobs. There are no placements for a civil and mechanical branch. I hope placement get improve as time goes. During project time, they help a lot. They tried to get a job from outside links. In class, they tell clearly, and we can ask doubts outside the class also.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good on the campus. The civil and mechanical equipment are good. Again it's constructing a new building. The infrastructure is safe and comfortable, and one can get relaxed by spending time in the lawn, when stressed. The bank is on the campus. Overall, the infrastructure is good. Lawn is good. There are football and basketball courts on the campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are the best at KLE. In a civil branch, the faculty members are friendly and helpful, and even they help after completing college. The faculty members help in placement and learning software. A few lectures need to improve, and the rest all are good. The civil branch lectures are the best. Electrical branch lectures are too strict, and they stress emotionally too.

Other: The scholarship is provided based on caste.

The college has a good quality faculty and placements.

Placements: I am from the civil engineering branch. Since our HOD said, last year, there are no placements on the campus because no company wants to hire the student who does work for 3 to 4 months and leave that particular company, but she promised us that if we don't do like that, they will invite the companies to the campus for placements. Here, the students should have a minimum aggregate of 60%. The highest salary offered to our super seniors was around Rs. 30,000 per month, and I heard that from a particular student who got that opportunity. The students who have great knowledge and skills got selected not who have good marks.

Infrastructure: It has got a good campus and studying environment. KLE has got an excellent library where most of the books are available. The professors do their best for students to gain knowledge and good marks. KLE has Wi-Fi facility only in the library so that the students will not misuse it. The quality of the labs and classrooms are excellent. The food available in the canteen is good but not to the full extent, and I don't like the canteen on the campus. I am a day-scholar, so I don't know anything about hotels, but my friend said that the hostel rooms are in good condition, and for each room, only two students are allotted. Human resource training centre (HRTC) is also conducted for us, so during interviews and jobs, we will not get any difficulty. KLE has paid Rs. 15,00,000 for VTU to download online books for students.

Faculty: KLE has got helpful, qualified, skilled, knowledgeable, and hard-working faculty members. The teaching of our faculty members are excellent, and if we don't understand the topic, then they will repeat the concept again and again, and they will explain with diagrams, videos, presentations, etc., and it was helpful. I am lucky to get this type of faculty, and I love my course.

Other: Fests are conducted once in a year for three days. Every month, the events are organised on the campus. Projects are given to us to improve our knowledge.

Higher education in KLE's Dr M S Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: All well in placements. The major hirer happens to be the TCS. Core companies also visit our college regularly. I have been placed in merchant navy and in Indian navy. So the people who are interested in joining the defence forces can also join it through Indian navy campus drives.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the college is quite good and at par, when comparing it with the other engineering colleges in the region. The staff is quite helpful and the laboratories are all well up to the date and well maintained. We even have all the required sports facilities.

Faculty: The faculty is very cooperative and student friendly. They support us in all our endeavours. Having such a team of professionals is always helpful to make a responsible citizen. The college is affiliated to VTU Belgaum and follows its predetermined curriculum.

Other: The college provides a serene environment for the teenage students to grow up in a healthy environment. They all are helpful to a great extent and the college in an overall view is a nice place to be in. I would recommend this college to my sister as well.

Placements: In our civil engineering department, 45-78% in Science or a Diploma is required for admission into B.E. The lowest package offered is 3.2 lakhs, and the highest is 5.4 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include L&T, JMR Infrastructure, KE International, and Tata Projects. About 60% of students get internships at L&T, Dilip Buildcon, and JMR Infra. Roles offered include civil engineer, construction supervisor, structural engineer, design engineer, and estimator.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, an auditorium, a computer lab, and cafeteria conditions vary; some students report positive experiences, while others voice concerns about taste, hygiene, and variety in the food quality. There is no medical facility, but it's good that there is a ground to play on.

Faculty: Teachers are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. As civil engineering students, we want a relevant curriculum that prepares us for future challenges. Civil engineering programs cover tough subjects like structural analysis, fluid mechanics, and geotechnical engineering, which can make exams challenging. The passing percentage for semester exams is a minimum of 40%.

Other: I chose civil engineering because I'm fascinated by how structures are designed and built. My dad runs a construction company, so I aim to take the business forward by becoming a civil engineer. I believe that practical work should be done at ground level and technology should be promoted in college labs.

This college is good for enjoyment, but not good for life.

Placements: Only 8% of the student got placed, and there are very bad placements. None of the good companies visits here and our college provides the worst placements. Core companies don't visit, but some finance and education drive companies available for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the department must be developed. The principal is not good, so other staff members are taking responsibility. But you have to struggle to get placements. Wi-Fi facility is the worst, but the library is good. There is a third-class sports club, and the members in that club are biased.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very useful to share knowledge about academics and placements. But you have to try best to make proud. You should be good with all the staff members and students.

Other: Our college organises one of the best fests in Karnataka, but it doesn't provide scholarships.
