It is a very good college for students.
Placements: Almost 10-15% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA by L&T. Top recruiting companies are L&T, TCS, and Amicus. Internships are also offered in our college. We have to work hard to grab internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. I would rate it 10 stars out of 10. All facilities are good. Our campus is fully air-conditioned. There is a huge library in this college. Classrooms are well-maintained. Playgrounds are available. Our campus has greenery all around. Hostels are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. The course curriculum is not relevant. Semester exams are not hard. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. CSE branch is the best for students.

Placements: Neither placements nor internships were good. The average student could not meet the requirements of top companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel was good. Sports and game facilities were available. The quality of the food was good. The water facilities were not good. The hostel was good for new students. The hostel fee was reasonable.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful and strict. They were knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was relevant, but it did not meet the needs of the corporate world at the teaching level. Semester exams were good. The pass percentage was 80%.

I loved the curriculum, fest, and also as IIT Bhilai is our neighbour, it helped me alot.
Placements: If students come here for a high amount placements then they are at the wrong place. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Very few companies come to our college and mainly they are a mass recruiter, and provide the same salary for all the students.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel available till now. The infrastructure is also not good. There are no sports facilities. If students come here by listening from someone that placements are good then they heard it wrong. Although curriculum sports are good.
Faculty: The curriculum is good. I loved the curriculum the fests, freshers parties, and sports days. I left the cricket team of CSE, and it was a great opportunity for me. Some faculty members help me a lot. But some are very arrogant which is a disadvantage.
Other: If students have a good friend circle then they can make good memories. I opted for this computer science branch, because of my interest in it. Computer laboratories are not good, and it does not work properly.

Our college has a good infrastructure, and you will have good college life here.
Placements: There is no great method of placements, or there are no placements at all. If you want to get placements, you have to make efforts for that. So if you make true efforts, you will get off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi and the library are great here. You can use it at any level if you want. But our lab sessions are not being conducted very well due to COVID-19 and have not started yet. However, earlier they were conducted well, and they will start soon. Classrooms are good.
Faculty: Exams are conducted very strictly. As I am in the CSE department, in this department, there are not any such good faculty members. You have to learn things on your own. Other branches have good and enough faculty members if you compared to our department faculty members. However, some of the faculty members give their 100% to us.
Other: Tech fest and sports are conducted very well here.

Review of Government Engineering College, Raipur.
Placements: The placements for computer science are quite better than other branches. The highest salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA-12 LPA, while the average salary package offered ranges between 1 LPA-4 LPA. You will get to learn about leadership within the clubs in our college like LOK and Codechef. Internships are offered when students are in the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is better compared to other government colleges, including the auditorium, library, hall and playground. The thing which is lacking here is the hostel as our college does not have its own hostel. Students have to find individual PGs.
Faculty: Faculty members here are great. The professors are professional and also friendly. Therefore the teaching quality is quite good. The semester exams really test the skills of students, i.e., their time management and writing speed. The pass percentage is 34% of marks for every student.
Other: The hostel should be built as soon as possible because every student knows government college hostels are of low quality.

The infrastructure and campus are good. Faculty members are equally good.
Placements: Companies are visiting the campus nowadays for placements. During our tenure, placements were not available for CSE students. However, we have participated in open campus drives, which were held in private colleges. Many students attended and got selected in open campus drives.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi and the library are good, where we used to enjoy and study as well. Canteens are really awesome, and usually, I used to eat have breakfast and lunch in canteens. Medical facilities are good, and the ground for sports is good. There are open spaces for outdoor sports also.
Faculty: Teachers and professors here are good, and they are experts in many different areas. They focused on providing theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Nowadays, that knowledge is helping me to be different from other students. Being a student of GEC is a really great thing, and none of the other students can feel this college life.
Other: Since my childhood, I have had an interest in computers, so I selected computer science as a primary subject. Moreover, I focused on learning it more. GEC provides scholarships for deserving students. The campus is really good, and extracurricular activities are conducted based on interest.

Overall, this college is good if you are interested in off-campus placements.
Placements: Placements here in our college are average, but they provide many resources and platforms to engage ourselves in various internships in many different companies with high packages. It is a good college if we talk about off-campus placements because our seniors are really at good places with favorable packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is the best in comparison with Raipur's all engineering colleges (IIT and NIT's level). There is only one demerit, and that is there are no hostel facilities, but the college has already started to work on this and the hostel will start from next year onwards (2025).
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and qualified with bachelor's degrees from NIT and IIT. Their teaching quality is very good and they are very helpful. The course curriculum here is relevant and it really makes students industry-ready and improves their skills.

Good infrastructure and quality of education if you're dedicated to study this college is for you.
Placements: The placement are average most of the students are placed in tcs adani group and Infosys the max package was 15 LPA and avg is 3.6 most students are doing Masters after BE so 30% students are being placed many students got internship from tcs and infosys.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, labs are working and very attractive, college group and other things are available in campus, extra curricular activities are being organised in college like sports, cultural fests, etc. For hostel I can't say anything because it wasn't alloted to me.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are iitians and nitians they are best at their field of knowledge they are well qualified and experienced. They are very humble and provide a quality of education to us. As per the rule there is 75%criteria for attendance and min 50% marks to pass semester exams .

Yes, you can easily get admission in the college but it might be possible that you might not get that college in the first round of the counselling but yes in the last session of the counselling you will easily get that.
