The college is good for study purposes and not suitable for enjoying college life.
Placements: About 75% of students were placed. The highest package is about 35 LPA and the average is about 8 to 10 LPA. The lowest is about 4 to 5 LPA. Top companies that recruit are Caterpillar, amazon, Technip Energies, etc. 50 to 60% of students got internships in top companies. Top roles offered are designer, senior engineer, and plant assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Labs facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi and libraries are available in the department. Classrooms are maintained, clean, and good in infrastructure. The hostel facilities are good. The food available in the mess and canteen is good. Sports and games are good enough. Medical facilities are extraordinary. Placements are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are well-educated and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. The exams are tough to score good marks and moderate for pass marks. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Events regarding technical happen often and nontechnical ones are not enough considered.

Our college is good and provides good placements.
Placements: Our college provides very good placements. Students got direct placements in Wipro, Infosys, TCS, IBM, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. Many core companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, etc., visit our college. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides well-maintained hostel facilities. It has a peaceful environment and well-maintained canteens. Labs are highly equipped with current technologies. We have a highly secured campus. The hostel has good rooms. It provides good food.
Faculty: Our college has very experienced teachers. Our college is autonomous. We have three internals and one final semester exam each semester. Two internal marks are considered for grade calculation. Our college prepares question papers. Exams are moderate.

It is a very good place to have an education. It has good placements.
Placements: About 80% of students from our course get placed. The salary package offered varies from 4-20 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Qualcomm and Société Générale visit the college for placements. About 80% of students from our course got an internship. A role offered is a testing engineer. It is a top course. I highly recommend students join the ECE course. Atleast 40 companies hire students from the college. I suggest you try to have a good CGPA. You will get placed for sure.
Infrastructure: Everything is good here. The food served in the hostel is comparatively good enough. The canteen is average, and hostel facilities are average.

The best college in Tamilnadu, with very good hostel facilities.
Placements: For ECE department, there were a lot of placement opportunities, and both core and IT sectors companies visited the college for placements. Service and product-based companies visited the college and recruited many students. The highest package offered was 33 LPA for the IT students, and the average package was 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the best among Tamilnadu government colleges. There is not a single drawback in hostel facilities. The canteen is good. The college infrastructure is good. We are blessed with many labs for ECE department. The lab staff are experienced and dedicated. They have an experience of at least 15 years.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. Faculty members put efforts into making students ready for the corporate environment. Separate training sessions are also available for C-programming and embedded systems. Placement training programs are also available. The campus environment is very nice.
Other: Cultural activities are less compared to other colleges. There is only one cultural fest called Intrams, conducted once a year.

There is a really good infrastructure, and it is worth studying here.
Placements: Nearly 80% of the students who opted for placements got placed in good companies with the average salary package. Qualcomm is the top recruiting company for our course. Core engineer is the top role offered in our course. Nearly 50% of the students do internships.
Infrastructure: There are very good lab facilities along with high-end equipment for students as well as faculty members. We got access to Wi-Fi facility in college and hostel. The quality of the food served is good, and food samples are tested three times a day. A huge ground and indoor stadiums are available here.
Faculty: Some teachers are highly qualified, but some are not. The course curriculum is perfectly relevant. Some teachers really motivate us to do different things which are really helpful in real-life. Our college makes students almost 50% ready for the industry.

There is a very good environment for studies and to improve our skills and knowledge.
Placements: The maximum number of students who opted for placements from our course got placed in good prestigious companies. Companies like Qualcomm, Cisco, Mindtree, etc., visit here for placements. Internships were also provided by some companies, and many students got selected in them. Top roles offered were software engineer, associate, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a Wi-Fi facility both on the campus and hostel for registered students. So, students can use it for any need like in labs, computers, etc. The food served here is best and hygienic. There are a hospital and pharmacy nearby our college. The sports ground is also very vast and encouraging.
Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful and resourceful for students. They encourage us to do many projects and also guide us, which is helpful to us during our placements. The course curriculum is relevant in many fields today, and it provides good jobs with nice salaries.
Other: Our college organises many events and at least once a month.

Good platform to improve oneself.
Placements: 75% of the students placed. Maximum salary is 15Lpa and minimum salary is 3Lpa. Top recruiting company is Qualcomm in electronics core. Top roles offered were network engineer, associate engineer, business technology analyst. 50% of the students got internship.
Infrastructure: 1. Free Wi-Fi is available.
2. Library : UG students can issue 3 books for 15 days. PG students can take 6 books for 15 days issue.
3. Classrooms and labs are spacious and clean. Labs have high-end equipment.
4. The sports club is available. Basketball and throwball coaching were available daily.
Faculty: 1. The course curriculum was well informed during joining and also brushed up during the start of each semester.
2. Most of the faculty members are well experienced and hold many papers and few patents in hand.
3. Department encourages industry exposure by attending internships, workshops and national conferences.
Other: I chose this course out of my own interest.

PSG College of Technology is ranked one among the top fifteen National level technical Institutes, in terms of number of students receiving placement offers from reputed organizations from all over the country.
Infrastructure: Residents who would like to stay during winter summer vacation at hostel for placement and other academic activities should submit vacation stay form (available at the hostel office) signed by their HOD. Also, the resident's parents should send a letter addressed to the warden by post stating that their ward is staying in hostel with their permission.
Faculty: Being autonomous, the college frames its own curriculum, updates syllabus, introduces new courses and is empowered to administer its own evaluation system. Since 1960, PSG College of Technology has been publishing the "PSG Design Data Book", the engineering Data handbook, used throughout the country by engineers and students.

The admission process of PSG College of Technology is based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai. Further, TNEA is a counselling process, which is based on 12th marks. Hence your JEE percentile does not matter here. If you have good marks in 12th then apply

Yes, you can easily get admission in this college with this score. But, you should try for the other good colleges of Delhi, Ghaziabad and other good private colleges as your score is quite good.

The admission at PSG for B.Tech is based on class 12th board exam scores. So, if she could have a good cut off mark in PCM, then she can easily secure the government quota seats itself. Otherwise, you may need to go for management quota, where you may need to write an entrance test and also the fees
