Christ University Entrance Exam Pattern 2026: Know Latest Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The syllabus for the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) for the BBA course has the following topics:

1. English Language: Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Synonyms & Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases,

2. Mathematics: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Data Interpreatation, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Mensuration

    

3. General Knowledge & Current Affairs: National & International Events, History & Geography, Politics & Governance, Economics, Science & Technology, Sports, Awards & Honors, Books & Authors,

4. Reasoning: Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Coding and Decoding, Syllogisms, Series, Direction, Arrangements, Puzzles, etc.

Christ University Entrance Test has a total of 120 questions. The English and Reasoning section carry 25 marks each. The Mathematics, Data Analysis and Interpretation and General Knowledge sections carry 20 questions each and the Fundamental Accounting section carries 10 questions. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded and 0.25 marks are deducted for an incorrect attempt. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Therefore, the total marks of Christ University Entrance Test are 120. Candidates must choose the questions to solve very carefully and smartly as they will not be awarded marks for incorrect answers. If they are not sure of the correct answer, they should leave the question instead of taking a chance.

Students should begin their Christ University CUET exam preparation with covering the complete syllabus for CUET and understanding the difficulty level of the questions. The syllabus is based on the syllabus studied till Class 12. Important topics include reading comprehension, grammar, current affairs, mathematics, logical reasoning, etc. 

Once the candidates clear the Christ University exam, they should prepare for the Micro Presentation, which is an important selection criteria at Christ University. To prepare for micro presentation, students should know the current affairs, social issues and abstract themes. Students should also practice speaking confidently. 

Students should practice writing long and short essays with time limits. To ace the skill assessment round, students should practice speaking fluently and work on their basic logic and reasoning capabilities. 

Yes, the Christ University Entrance Test exam has negative markings. Each question in the Christ University Entrance Test carries one mark and if the answer is incorrect -0.25 marks will be awarded for that particular question. This means that if the candidate has four incorrect answers, then one mark will be deducted from the Christ University Entrance Test overall score. If the candidate marks more than one answer for a particular question, the answer will be considered incorrect. To avoid maximum marks deduction, students must attempt the easier question first and then move on to the more difficult ones in that particular section. If the candidate is unsure about a particular question, they can also skip the question. No marks will be deducted or awarded for unanswered questions. 

Christ University Entrance Test pattern is prescribed by Christ University.  The CUET question paper will contain multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The Skill Assessment Test will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.
