Q:   Is there any grace marks in Kerala DHSE exams?
A:

Yes, Grace marks are given for the plus two students. Kerala Government restored the grace marks awarded to school students for their excellence in extracurricular activities. In 2023, the Kerala Principal Secretary had issued a new order stating that grace marks being awarded to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and higher-secondary Plus-Two students in Kerala who excel in extracurricular activities will be limited to a single event in which they scored the maximum marks, and it doesn’t matter whether they participated and became eligible in multiple co-curricular items. The Board was not awarding Sports Grace marks during the last two years (2020 to 2022) as the normal academic schedule was impacted by the lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Board will also consider the achievements of state-level winners in school fests while studying in Class 8 or 9 awarding Sports Grace mark for Kerala SSLC Result 2023 and Sports Grace mark for Kerala Plus Two Result 2023. However, the condition is that the student during his Class 10 study should obtain an A grade in the same event at the Revenue district level.
