The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducted the Maharashtra HSC Mathematics 2026 exam on February 21. The exam was conducted from 11 am to 2 pm. Maharashtra HSC Mathematics & Statistics Question Paper 2026

Maharashtra HSC exam carries 5 compulsory subjects including English. Candidates have the option to choose 6th additional subject in Class 12. Maharashtra HSC Question Paper Pattern 2026

Maharashtra HSC Board question paper is divided into different sections. Mah HSC question paper pattern is given below.

Section A: Consists of 8 Multiple Choice Questions of 2 marks each. It also carries 4 Very Short Answer questions of 1 mark each. This section carries 20 Marks.

Section B: Contains 12 Short Answer questions. Out of which students are required to attempt any eight. A total of 16 marks is allotted to this section.

Section C: This section contains 12 Short Answer questions. Students must attempt any eight. A total of 24 marks is allotted to this section.

Section D: Contains 8 Long Answer-type questions. Students are required to attempt any five. A total of 20 marks is allotted to this section.

The Maharashtra HSC exam consists of mix of objective (MCQs), very short answer, short answer and long answer questions. 25 per cent questions are MCQs while remaining 75 per cent covers subjective, analytical and descriptive type questions.
